Strange timing, I had my V7 out today to show a friend .
I think I have a copy of the V7 layout editing software uploaded, message me and I can send a copy over if you want to try it out?

GLWS Cheers dude. Sad to see it go, but would rather it go to someone that will use it. Plus, extra quarantine-cash is always nice :). Forgot to mention and will add to OP, this is the board from our favourite reviewers HHKB review so it's famous as well as being generally awesome. https://www.yout...

Parting ways with the HHKB, the start of a big clearout hopefully. https://imgur.com/Duzo1gr.jpg Selling the above HHKB bundle. Included are the board, set of caps, control/esc coloured caps set, red cable, rev D hasu controller and a keyboard slip. I picked the board up second hand in 2012 but it h...

Huh...maybe I'm the edge-case that actually uses the winkey then. Was told another cool shortcut today too - win+shift+s for snippingtool :D. I use that one too, but it has not escaped notice that Micro$oft is pushing that one by improperly eliminating the preexisting Alt-PrtSc key combination. And...

@kbdfr, cool shortcut for the menu, but it doesn't work as a modifier; I can't move windows or open explorer/run etc using it .

Re: Post your keyboard/keycaps!
Capslock is left control Left control is left FN Left alt is left alt Hence the winkeyless dilema...not enough keys that side of the spacebar :). I think I had FN+left alt as Winkey at some point but was a bit fiddly...Given that the only boards I really use these days are winkey boards with program...

Looks good, is the negative dye-sub a sign of things to come?
I'll be adding my Whitefox into the work board rotation soon, it's too nice to be sat in a drawer and I've too many keyboards, not enough work stations .

There are other problems with that board to be honest...I used one for about a month or so (can't remember why, masochism maybe) and the steep angle of the board, keyweight and the bloody pinging was infinitly more uncomfortable than the crappy enter key.

Very nice project, looking forward to seeing how it turns out. Amber alps are still on my "to try" list so this one is of particular interest to me .
Custom boards don't have to break the bank, my favourite came from a £20 Focus board and a £15 junker M0118 I nabbed on ebay.

Re: HHKB refresh in 2019?
Regarding an ISO HHKB... I couldn't get on with the HHKB for a few reasons, mostly around the blank corners and the left shift and missing ISO key so my concession which I've been using for a few years now and really like is the one below. All the fun of the right side of the HHKB with the added fun...

Re: Cherry 1800 - Telco TA103
Very cool find. I wonder if the blockers are like those on the G80-5000 where they are plastic-riveted in place on the back of the PCB? Also, re the DB9 converter, if this keyboard was designed for a specific application a conversion may be a bit tricky. The good news is I'm fairly certain there are...
