did some work on a KiCAD footprint last night. need to get it manufactured and then find a way to test to ensure the footprint works properly. hint hint. also where can one buy caps for these switches?

do all the pins on the USB side of the board do things? i see this as something that may cause issues or have the potential to make wiring those harder but not imposable. pinout please?

yeah one button to throw it into bootloader mode is probably plenty.

i dont disagree. i really hate jumping the pro micro's but to save cost and space on the board its a thought. just my 2 cents

what if you just use a jumper and be able to set it in bootloader mode with a keystroke. so flash it with a generic. build the board. then kepress to bootloader mode?

i like so much about this other than how expensive the PCB is going to be LOL. i want a battle station. just dont have time to build one right now

yeah i mean the layout is kinda interesting but i'd totally have to reprogram it to QWERTY because i just can't PLUM. also i have a ML board and yes its a mech and yes its low profile doesn't mean its good as many have confirmed. may try and lube the switches or something.

before placing the order I was reviewing the board. I noticed that if you place the board between the PCB and the plate the buttons are really close to the plate and if the plate flexes I feel like the buttons could get pressed. Any comment?

I honestly have zero experience with live streaming, I would probably have to buy some hardware too. Splitting the US and EU audience would the best course of action... I guess let's try with a first experimental stream and see how it goes

If you type in English you do not need accented characters, that may be a bit less an issue; however, if you need accented characters this layout will be very hard to use.
