Re: [WTS] EU-DE 2* Sparkle Loft Reactor Artisan, 2* Weytec Keycaps
Because I wasn't one of the lucky ones who got the electronics to make them work. So I got rid of the parts I couldn't use and kept the ones I could.

[WTS] EU-DE 2* Sparkle Loft Reactor Artisan, 2* Weytec Keycaps
Hi everybody, after a longer hiatus I decided to get a few new 60% boards, try out T1s, Holy Pandas and stuff. When looking through the stuff I still got lying around I noticed that I got WAY too much keyboard-related stuff and some of it has GOT to go. I have NO idea what any of this stuff is worth...

Tex Yoda 2 Kit
Hey, I'm looking to get rid of these two items right now. It's been ages since I actually committed too this hobby, so I'm trying to pawn off what I still got lying around. One is a Tex Yoda 2 Kit, ordered during the Groupbuy period. If I remember correctly I paid about 250€ all in all, so I'll be a...

Have they fixed their shitty inconsistent legends yet? The legends of the last GB by CTRLALT were absolutely abysmal as well, I doubt they fixed them for now. It was just as bad as the original one, of not worse tbh. Some of them were so obviously broken, I got no idea how those passed QC. I think ...

Found a Dolch PAC 64, anyone wants to split?
Hey guys, found a decently priced Dolch PAC 64 which I'm interested in, but only in the keyboard part. Would anyone here be interested in the computer itself, so we can split up the price (~230€, or 115 each)? It's located in germany and since it's so large shipping even inside EU would probably be ...

That means, having full control over the manufacturing process, which was crucial to me. Does that mean that you changed the manufacturer of the plate/case? I never had a Whitefox, but I built one for a friend and QC was just abysmal and it didn't look any better on the pictures of other buyers (th...

@Solid_Snake Yeah, those prices are insane. I'm willing to pay some extra, but more than 1€ per switch with a slider I don't want and can't resell either? Nah, thanks. @Menuhin 1. No problem for me, as I plan to use a black Cherry Top-Housing anyway. I just need the milky bottom. 2. That's exactly w...

@manna Sadly the white SMD-Version won't work for what I want to do I think. The bottom case needs to be translucent. It works best with the milky housings, but the clear housing from zealios looks okay too. @Menuhin Exactly those. Is there any information as of why they got discontinued? @Solid_Sna...

Where can I still find Gateron Switches with milky bottom?
Hey guys, I've been looking for a while now and it looks like these are sold out everywhere? I guess they're not produced anymore (which might've been due to QC-issues? The ~10 switches I once had all showed chattering issues, although they came with different stems, so from different charges) I jus...

Aristotles Stems are pretty nice, but nothing like blue Alps. Gateron clickies are even further off, the click is even higher pitched than that of MX Blues imo. Your best bet would probably be those Alps-MX-mount adapters and some clicky Alps switch. The plate and case you use have a huge impact as ...

Just got a German AP150 and it came with 3 Green Alps (the 1u keys with LEDs), rest Alps SKEW integrated dome switches. Bummer... On another note, I just don't get why these were used in Typewriters so frequently (Sharp 1050 had the same with different slider color). They feel horribly mushy. The on...

Personally I like both and it depends on the layout of the keyboard. For example I don't mind a floating keys 60% keyboard, but a floating keys MX HHKB just looks silly to me. The reason they're popular in general is that they're easier to clean (at least that's what's my impression, reading on norm...

Don't Matias switches count as Alps? And even they just released a new version (reduced wobble). To come back on topic a little again, my Cherry MX Silent have been sent today and I'm really looking forward to trying them out. I'm normally not a linear kind of guy, but maybe the silenced are better...

How it is possible that alps appreciation topic is 26 times bigger than this one? At least for me Cherry stuff is really boring. I like their switches for various reasons, but there's nothing rare/mystical about them, as they're still produced. Sure there are some lesser known variations like the C...

I don't know if it's too late to add this, or if anyone is even interested in this, but it keeps bugging me. We get all keys we need to essentially use them on two keyboards (or sell one part at some point), one ANSI and one ISO. We got three backspaces, two escapes, two capslocks, four shifts, six ...

Personally I think $20+ Rubberdomes are a waste. You could try getting a old BTC or something, those are supposed to feel really good and (at least used to) go for low prices. If you actually want to spend your budget, I'd definitely go for a mech. Which one depends on what you want to have? Silent,...

That's actually a really nice idea, but I didn't mean it that way. The way it looks on your renders, it looks like the acrylic plate is shorter than the frame? Then this might not even be an issue. What I'm talking about is this acrylic "lip" that's visible when you set the keyboard on the desk with...

I really like the render, but I doubt it'll look as good in reality. To be quite honest, I dislike the whole metal+acrylic thing as it always looks cheap to me. I'd even go as far as to recommend to mount the acrylic bottom inside the aluminium frame. The Redscarfs design I once assembled suffered a...
