I don't feel too adept at SC2. It can be quite fun under the right circumstances, but it can also get very frustrating if you keep being outmatched, as, I am afraid, has happened a few times for me.

Anyone willing to wager a guess as to how Heart of the Swarm will affect multiplayer?

Urgh. I'm trying to not suck- I wasn't horribad when it first came out, but I got back into other games and forgot it all. Going back through the campaign before I jump back into multiplayer again.

Anyway, if you want to improve yourself I recommend Day[9] who provides excellent casts / lessons !
