Things are really heating up! I believe the first indictments are the start of Season 3, with Season 1 being the FBI investigation and ending with the Comey firing. And Season 2 starting with the Mueller appointment.
My biggest fear is that Darth Cheeto fires Mueller and he pardons all his cronies and then goes after Hillary out of pure spite. That will be absolute chaos. I really commend Hillary for being able to avoid criminal prosecution after nearly endless theatrical Congressional investigations. Quite amazing really. If only Darth Cheeto his boys could be that good at hiding their dirty work!
My prediction is that Darth Cheeto took money from Russian oligarchs and banks, laundered it through offshore accounts, bought some real estate, and revived his business. This all occurred mostly about that time in the Aughts when it’s rumored that his business empire was struggling. They own him and could reveal it all. That’s why he is so hesitent to bash the Russians and hangs out with so many people that have shady relationships with the Russian oligarchy.

Hopefully, in some way, legislation to protect Mueller is passed. I doubt it, but that's the dream.vivalarevolución wrote: My biggest fear is that Darth Cheeto fires Mueller and he pardons all his cronies and then goes after Hillary out of pure spite. Yeah I could see that happening.
If he fires Mueller that makes it really obvious after Comey...vivalarevolución wrote: My biggest fear is that Darth Cheeto fires Mueller and he pardons all his cronies and then goes after Hillary out of pure spite. I saw a Documentary about Trump's business dealings after the Atlantic City bust in the 1990's that basically came to the exact same conclusion without firm proof. And we all know who controlls those Russian oligarchs...vivalarevolución wrote: My prediction is that Darth Cheeto took money from Russian oligarchs and banks, laundered it through offshore accounts, bought some real estate, and revived his business. I think that this a very benign reading. Trump's primary business has been laundering dirty Russian money for at least a decade and a half. After bankrupting nearly everything that he touched, he now specializes in "hospitality" businesses that are the perfect venue for laundering cash. Except for certain exceptions such as the hotel in Washington, most of his businesses have been only minimally profitable, if at all, for years. Fortunately for him, having clients who are happy to input $100M in dirty money and get $30M clean in return for it are quite satisfied with the deal.vivalarevolución wrote:

They would gain nothing from harming him, he only has value so long as his operation, or any of its myriad offshoots, is capable of performing this function for them.

I’m just speculating after reading about what Paul Manafort [allegedly] did with dirty money and some of the other stuff I’ve heard about Darth Cheeto’s connections with Russian oligarch money through his real estate business. I’m sure it goes much deeper.fohat wrote:I think that this a very benign reading. Trump's primary business has been laundering dirty Russian money for at least a decade and a half. Of course this happens the very day a political ad is ran against the Republican candidate for governor which portrayed a racist person in a truck trying to plow down minority children. It was pulled later in the day of course.seebart wrote: Good article on todays horrible events:

Great art there, seebart. Love it.
So some Twitter employee shut down Darth Cheeto’s Twitter account on their last day of work.
Now there’s a true American hero.

Yeah, too bad twitter had to reactivate it so quickly.
That's what I thought too but I guess this person had that kind of access.

My guess is the Twitter employee probably just figured out his account password. It’s probably his birthday or the season of the Apprentice that had the best ratings or something stupidly simple like that.

(Spoiler due to large-ish image and potentially risque photo)
Spoiler:
I find it pretty believable that a Twitter service rep could delete an account. As far as a safeguard, someone has to have the ability to delete accounts. I do think it would be a good idea to have to have a system in place to protect verified accounts, but that requires additional programming for something that I'm sure doesn't happen that often, if not only this one time.

From working with many similar systems, you have a two step policy in place (at the least) where someone requests deletion and someone else approves it, at the least. The approvers can delete, but only with a valid request. The reps can request the deletion, but can't actually delete nor their changes be seen in production. There's always some way to limit this, and I'm surprised that a single Rogue employee can do such. But after all of the problems with people's information, I shouldn't be surprised at their being a lack of responsibility and oversight.

Yeah I like that one quite a bit also. Pretty sleazy.
Agreed, although I don't know the position that individual held and what that involved.gkubed wrote: I find it pretty believable that a Twitter service rep could delete an account. I'm wondering whether the info conveyed by Twitter mightn't have been somewhat imprecise.
After all, if a Twitter employee did that, it's quite certain that then it was their last day of work

OK lets get things in order:

'This place is a shithole' projection appears on Donald Trump's D.C. hotel...
Slighty off-topic but a good read and sadly the truth IMO:The five-word proclamation appeared as a projection above the entryway at Washington, D.C.'s Trump International Hotel on Saturday night. The projection also included an arrow pointing directly at the hotel's entrance and a crowd of poop emoji.

"How the AfD will approach its work in these committees — constructively or disruptively, radically or pragmatically — is another unknown."
Let's hope that it plays out better in your country than it did in mine.
With a parliamentary system, at least, you don't have the stark binary dichotomy that we have in the US, with its "winner take all" in Congressional committees, which hold the power to allow whatever they want, and/or prevent it from ever seeing the light of day.

Yes that is part of how the parliamentary system works. The good thing is that none of the other parties will coalise with the AfD or even really talk to them so they are basically "sitting ducks" with zero prospect of making any politics. On the other hand it is alarming enough that we have a far-right political party like this being voted for in Germany with our well known history. This is all due to the very passive governance of Frau Merkel.fohat wrote: "How the AfD will approach its work in these committees — constructively or disruptively, radically or pragmatically — is another unknown."

What's funny and sad is that nobody bats an eye that Darth Cheeto **allegedly** had an affair with a porn star right after his wife gave birth to his son.

He was trying to 'stimulate' the economy. And politicians have never been moral bastions when it comes to their livesvivalarevolución wrote:What's funny and sad is that nobody bats an eye that Darth Cheeto **allegedly** had an affair with a porn star right after his wife gave birth to his son.

If you put a European politician in a car and let him drive on the highway for a couple of hours, he will reach the border of his country, and people living at the other side probably don't speak the language he does. That's the country he's been administrating, and that's the situation he's been facing. The size and population of his country is about only 1/3 or 2/3 of an American state or Chinese province. How can we expect such politicians to see and understand a big picture? They simply can't, Europe won't stand a chance in the following 100 years, if European people keep those parochial pettish faggy politicians in their governments and can't rid themselves of laziness and depression. America China and Russia will remain major players in the world arena and the rest of the world are just spectators.

Europe's pushed the human society to its pinnacles over the 3 centuries after the Renaissance, however it started to languish since the beginning of the 20th century; the US. has been the superpower for past 100 years. China is the superpower in making and is going to become reality in 25-30 years. Just like the old saying goes: Every dog has its day.
Here are some News footage and a documentary about poverty in Europe.
So the 2016 movie "I, Daniel Blake" is an accurate depiction of what's really going on over there in Europe. Maybe the leftists have no choice, they just wanted to take in the immigrants so they could have young cheap labor to do the jobs their own people don't want to do and they wanted to get some moral credit by doing so as well, regretfully, it turned out to be just another wishful thinking.
PS:
The reporter in the last video looks a lot like Borat, speaking of Borat, it's interesting to see people who know nothing about Kazakhstan believing they know everything about the country after they've watched movie "Borat", eventhough it's a parody film that isn't supposed to be taken seriously. Now, it's time for them to stop being smug by opening their eyes to see their own reality and future, which isn't a good outlook to behold.
