hey everyone,
i am wondering if there is a perfect height for everything. i've been using a computer desk for quite a while now which holds the keyboard at 62cm. my forearm, however, is pressed towards the board above it, finally giving me a reason to think about a new desk. i've decided to try out placing the keyboard+mouse to the board above the shiftable board where the keyboard is supposed to be. however, when resting my feet on a chair 1m away from my computer desk and not sitting in 90° but 180° to the desk, i find it very uncomfortable to hold the mouse. my wrist has to be buckled to almost 90° to be able to move/click the mouse in this scenario.
so, given you have your body height, is it possible to determine which heigths your chair and keyboard have to be on in order to achieve most comfortability? which formula should i use?

When sitting in a chair, your arms and legs would ideally be at 90° so it's easy enough to find the correct height for your chair. Then you can work out the desk heigh based off what would put your arms at 90°
I would love to get one of these Herman Miller desks…
