Deskthority Awards this year...

Hi all, unless someone else volunteers to run it, there will be no Deskthority Awards this year. I'm afraid I'm way too busy with other parts of my life to attend to it. If someone wants to run it instead, please let me know. Otherwise, there will be a skip year!

It'll be nice not to see so much drama for once, DTA is very good at stirring up shit which is a shame considering how much effort is put in to running it.

What would be required?
* Handle contacts with sponsors for voter-prizes. (I'm no good at that, myself)
* Handle the forum stuff: Create threads. Collect nominations. Announce winners. (Anyone with time and some bbcode skills could do that, right?)
* Send Wingnuts to winners. (Webwit has them, right?)

What else?

And to that point, can the responsibilities be split so that it's not so much on one person?
