Quite regularly there are threads posted asking what keyboard to buy. Such questions used to be answered by the Keyboard Oracle or one of its many helpers.
I think that the Oracle thread should be stickied again (was it ever...

Good point. The day I turned up here, my first post was a what keyboard to get thread, too.
I suggest giving new users a welcome to Deskthority guide in their account registration email. Top of the list: a link to the Oracle thread, with the suggestion to ask their most obvious question there. And a helpful list of good things to mention so we can offer sound advice.
Also a good place to warn against tooting your own eBay the moment you show up.

I made it sticky again. Don't know why it was not sticky anymore.
Anything else missing?

Nevertheless, if the The Keyboard Oracle disbehaves again, it will be replaced by The Bot!

The bot advises you to get whatever keyboard you want, so long as you need a ton of his superior caps.

The Bot will always say stuff like "Can you elaborate on that" and "What makes you believe you want a Filco?"
