IPC(BTC)-5349 (NIB) adapter problem?

Hello everyone, first post here. I thought I'd share my BTC keyboard I bought recently which was NIB. There is just one problem, though. I can't seem to get it to work with my DIN-5 to PS/2 adapter. Keypresses are not registering, even though the LOCK-keys + LEDs work just fine. Is it maybe an adapter problem?

Any help would be appreciated.

P.S.: Photos are bad quality because I only have my phone here at the moment.

Try a different adapter (I had some brand new that didn't work at all). But, my bet is that you may need an active adapter for that keyboard to work flawlessly.

Sounds like a textbook case of needs an active converter, I think that should fix it :) .

Thanks for the help guys, but after ordering two different active (atleast I think so) Converters I still cannot use the keys. Could it be that the keyboard is actually XT instead of AT? When I press random keys I sometimes get a random input. For example if I press "/" on the Numpad I get "0" on every third or so keypress etc. Should I buy an extra XT converter or make one myself?

My current adapter/converter setup is like so: http://imgur.com/a/XygHD

Also, I have already watched the video on all the different connectors and plugs by Chyros (very useful btw, thanks :) ).

No way it's XT, that protocol didn't even make it that far into the 80s as a standard protocol xD .
