1) For the past week I have been using the SA Icecap TKL set on a 87-key WASD Keyboard V2 with Cherry MX Red Silent switches. I am very impressed with the noise reduction on these! I purchased the 87-key specifically for taking with me to the office as a daily driver. The noise dampening on downstroke eliminates the need for O-rings. What's more impressive is the upstroke is also dampened. The combination has created the quietest mechanical keyboard that I've ever used.
2) The wiki should be updated, and I'm not sure where to start with that, or if someone else takes care of that. While the entry mentions that the downstroke is dampened, it fails to mention that upstroke is also dampened. Not only am I able to attest to this, but the Cherry site does too: "Reliable reduction of bottom-out and top out noise" (Source http://cherry.de/cid/keymodules_CHERRY_ ... NT_RED.htm)

Yeah, I am extremely eager to get a Varmilo VA108 equipped with these. Cynthia over at Varmilo has promised to keep me appraised of their availability.

Great switch for gaming, I got the Strafe RGB with silent switches as my first mechanical and the feel is just right for games (I prefer tactile switches for typing though)
