Hello,
I have been working on my IBM Model M Carbon Fiber by using beat up Model M case and sending it to a fiber fabrication shop. I use real carbon fiber, hand wrap and rasin coated the whole thing again, all the these process need craftsmanship skill and I got it all done in my country here, Thailand.
I use IBM M13 keycap to goes with the black carbon fiber keyboard. What do you think? Cheers!

Very cool idea. That one is probably lighter than a unicomp M with that case.

Super achievement, could never be done here in Convict Town, too lazy or stupid here (you pick) hence you should be proud your country could do this kind of thing.
Suspect this Model-M can be dropped kicked across the oval without anything breaking, except maybe your foot when kicking it.
Nice one .

So pretty, and I doubt that there's any flex on that case at all. The M13 keycaps are a great choice.
Also, it would look great as a Ferrari Media Center controller. Just add Bluetooth.

The keyboard sounds is only slightly effected by the wrap of the carbon fiber and rasin coated. The case itself is more solid however it doesn't absorb much noise from the chassis of the metal plate. It still sound like original Model M, maybe slightly less metal cranky sound, a little damped.
if I have a chance to put up a video, I will post them soon

Hmmm, that sounds quite interesting, I might have to opt in on that 8) . Depends a bit on how much it costs though, I really have no idea what order of magnitude of dosh we're talking here...

You could always do a video review to justify the expenseChyros wrote: ↑Hmmm, that sounds quite interesting, I might have to opt in on that 8) . Depends a bit on how much it costs though, I really have no idea what order of magnitude of dosh we're talking here...

Also doing up an SSK case all proper like would be the bee's knees. Add in Model F internals and a new controller and this would really be the cat's pajamas.
