Polarizing keyboard. I initially thought it felt great, but I am on the fence about it now. The click on the upstroke was something I couldn't get used to.

Update: got the keyboard. the switches feel like shit, I'll disassemble them and post pictures later.mark201200 wrote: Hey, i got this keyboard alongside some (original) apple boards. Considering that it's an AEK Clone, and that green ALPS have the LED hole, I'm pretty sure that those are probably ALPS clones. Can simeone identify them? Is the keyboard worth restoring? Also, how do you remove that piece of keycap stuck in the slider?
I don't have better pics, I'll post them when i get it in the mail, if necessary.

So, it turns out that these are linear. They're so fucking scratchy that I thought they were tactile, also the key feel is extremely inconsistent.

Those look like they are probably Xiang-Min KSB-N switches. I couldn't confirm that from photos though. Definitely not Tai Hao since (as far as I can tell) Tai Hao APC switches are all marked APC.

That is most probably MX black. A giveaway on wyse is the arrow keys . Mechanicals usually have the fancy yellow arrow keys

Presumably the first two digits of the part № are the year (1990 in this case, which should be well into vint blacks territory). That's the one in better condition, but it doesn't have the yellow arrow legends.
What's worrying is that the only 90××××-01 board listed on the wiki is a white rubber dome one. The year and case color match this board, so I'm just not sure.
If no one knows for certain, I guess I'll just ask the seller to pop a keycap.
Edit: If the second pair of digits is the week number, then it's actually very likely that it's a rubber dome. In fact, that would mean that this board and the wiki one were manufactured in the same week, just 12 units apart.

EDIT 2: did not see the top one only just loaded for me ... Top one is RD for sure . Second one 99 sure it's MX black
Hope it helps

I consider it penence for all the keyboard I have killed to make NIB Dell at101s with SGI cases . Or lovely terminal keyboards killed to get smooth vintage blacks for my tipro. Its nice to know one keyboard is still doing what it was made to do.
Now keyboard gods , if I may be forgiven for killing green Alps and transplanting the spring into Matias reds. In my defense oh lord, the green Alps where worn out and glad to give there springs to let there red Matas brothers live with the springs they should have had all along.
In short , Matias reds with better springs like greens are fantastic

Wow that's pretty bizarre, it looks like a Focus FK based board but made by Cherry. If I had to guess, someone transplanted a G80-3000 into an aftermarket case and transferred the sticker over.

Any info about this keyboard, apart mx black and intriguing OG doubleshots? First time seeing OG colored keycaps, and cant seem to find anything on internet about it. Regular article number doesn't help either. Looks like something industrial.

I don't think it's Cherry made, Costar stabs are not a cherry thing, I also doubt the sticker is from the company that made this keyboard, as the sticker indicates a 2007 manufacturing date (I was curious about what year T was on upon searching I found out it was from 2007, a WKL keyboard from 2007 seems out of place
![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
which leads me to believe that this is a Focus chassis used to home a MX keyboard, and that the someone who made that customisation applied some kickass Cherry stickers to look like it's a real one

Just got these in the main and the model number is G99-1611. I didn't see anything on the wiki about them and they seem just to be POS boards.

Someone's selling basically new Zenith keyboard units on eBay for dirt cheap! But what is that switch?
