Model M SSK Sabre 1393691

Just got back from a trip where I finally found an interesting deal, saw on a retro computing store 3 SSKs Sabre, I was only able to buy two of them as the other one was already sold.

However, it seems like they did some moding on the case to put a new ps2 cable out of it. I am attaching some pics, I would prefer to restore them to use the original cable. Any suggestions to fix them?
