Hello everyone.
I have an NMB RT101, restored by a friend of mine - another keyboard enthusiast like most here and bought from another friend.
My keyboard, when i got it was working perfectly, in fact, i really love this keyboard in every sense possible (well, let's forget the 2 key rollover that this has), however, with the time passing, i have noticed something very weird happening to my keyboard: There are keys dying.
I thought this only happened to mechanical keyboards, it happening to membrane keyboards is news to me...
The keys that are died ⬆(that one is fully dead), ⮕ and ⬇ (both of which actually came back to work as intended), and finally, and the one that is ruining me the most and made me post this: the g key.
It happened literally out of nowhere... i was playing a game when i noticed the g key wasn't working anymore, and now i'm stuck here typing this and having to paste the g key everytime i want to use it.
If i hold the g key it comes back... briefly, at random moments and for a random amount of time. Example (the spaces left in between the g keys are the key stopping to answer when holding: g ggggggg gg gggggg g ggg
What is happening? Is my beloved keyboard dying? I really, REALLY don't want to go back to my old keyboard and, some of you may laugh at me, i don't have any money, i'm still a teenager...
Thanks to anyone willing to help me in this moment of despair. Also, here is a video from that friend who restored the keyboard (and thinks that the rubber dome is losin' it's conductive material): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZc4IcIttpU

Update:
The G key is working as intended again, but the ESC key is completely dead, holding it won't work.
I will try to readjust the back screws on this keyboard to see if the problem resides on the membrane stretching (although this keyboard does have a back plate, so maybe it ain't the problem).
