AEK II and some triggering of keys in same matrix.

I cleaned my AEK II and yesterday all the keys were registering well but today when testing, it seems like whenever I press the F2, 2, or W key, it would also type an X as well. And when typing an X, it seems to triggering twice? Where it will spam multiple Xs in a row if holding for a short amount of time.

I found this website with the pin assignments https://home.ttic.edu/~cotter/projects/aek2/ and it seems like all of the keys that I mentioned above are in the same matrix. When I looked at the circuit board, the trace seems to be pretty clean. I also tested continuity on the X key and between keys on the trace and they seem to register fine (which make sense since they are being detected as clicked on the computer).

I don't know anything about circuits but if anyone give some insight on what might be the cause of this behavior, that would be extremely helpful. I was thinking maybe one of the diodes is no longer working but I am not even sure that this keyboard has diodes or what I would be looking for.

Testing it some more, it seems like it would not type the X when pressing the other keys if I pressed really quickly, held it or didn't let the key fully reset (so release it and re-activating it without fully letting go of the key)

Just adding that detail in case it helps.
