I think you will find there is a little piece of text that is present after the word dirty in my title. I am merely asking indirectly if they are easy to clean and if they get dirty fast enough to be more than a minor annoyance.

Depends on how dirty your hands are, and how often you use the keyboard. Blank/engraved white keycaps are very easy to clean though, just soak them in bleach and they'll come out white again.

That's pretty much what I said. lol.....

If you keep your hands dirty while typing, then you can expect the keycaps to get dirty. If you wash your hands before typing, then I guess you won't have that issue....

Anyways, thanks guys, gonna just get them and see what happens... I don't generally like to do obstacle courses before using my keyboard so I will assume that they should stay white for long enough.

All my PBT keycaps get dandruff on them faster than they get actually dirty. My unicomp ones haven't been cleaned ever (since December 2010), and they still look clean. Now they're light grey instead of white, but I imagine the principle holds.

I saw ripster's post at GH while ago on how white engraved PBT caps attract grime over time. It was not pretty.

Also it seems to me that some of the keys have yellowed a bit.(not talking about Japanese flag keys; alpha keys are slightly yellow compared to modifier keys.) See here

That's from the grime. Once you clean them up with soap or denture tabs, they are as good as new.
