After a lot of YouTube searches, I want to get an original Apple Extended Keyboard with Orange ALPS switches. I like the sound of them better than the Salmon ALPS switches.
A lot of sellers on eBay/Craigslist/Offerup don't pull a keycap to see what kind of switch is in the keyboard. Is there any way to determine the switch type from the sticker on the bottom?

Not a scientific certainty, but they made roughly a million of them and approximately the first 500K were orange and the 2nd half were salmon. There have been discussions about it but I don't think that there are any hard rules.

Well, I could not find a reasonably priced Orange Alps AEK, so I went with Salmon. The quest for Orange Alps continues. I'm sure I'll stumble on one some day.
