NMB Space Invaders actuate early?

I've been cleaning my keyboard pile and pulled out a board with clicky black NMB Space Invaders. Tried using it, but the switches all consistently activate on the top of the tactile bump. It's the only board with them I have, so I wanted to see if any other SI diehards have experienced this.

They all fire before the tactile bump. It's something Space Invaders are quite notorious for. Their greatest flaw, in my view. Not a deal breaker, but definitely not as classy as they could be.

Damn, sitting on the tactile bump is how I type quickly... Well, guess it'll live in it's new box for quite a while

Yeah, I hear ya. I find NEC blue ovals the same way: a touch too trigger happy right where I least want it. Backspace gets a workout on both for me.

Thanks for the warning. I've been wanting to add them to the collection, now I won't be super trigger happy about it!
