Hi there,
I had recently bought out an old electronic store and cleared out all of their old stock containing a bunch of old-school/vintage keyboards. I was wondering if someone on this page was interested in buying the entire lot of keyboards off of me (approx 50).
They’re all untested and the pictures will be attached to this thread.
Contact me on discord if you’d like to work out a deal as I probably won’t be checking this thread -

Thanks!
I could also provide more pics if needed just hit me up.
I have a lot more old vintage computer stuff (floppy discs, etc..)
I’d preferably hope to sell all of these items to one person (e.g., a reseller or a business), but I’m open to offers
Large amount of keyboards

I would advise you to not store anything with the cable wrapped around it.
The cable is likely made of PVC with plasticisers which will eat its way into ABS plastic.
If that is how they came, do check for marks.
Overall, I think it is first the keyboards with mechanical switches in them that would be interesting for a collector. The Model M and the Acer in particular. Second, there might be retro-enthusiasts looking for specific keyboards that were once shipped with a particular computer model, such as that Sony VAIO keyboard. The Mitsumi with pencil tray might be interesting for parts for other Mitsumi-made brand keyboards, for a collector of classic Mac or Commodore Amiga.
Most of it is probably not possible to sell, so with the cost of taking it to recycling, if someone offers to take it all, I think you should give it to that person for free.
But that is just my opinion, and I am sometimes wrong.

Empty paper towel or toilet paper rolls are one way to store coiled cables.Findecanor wrote: ↑05 Sep 2024, 20:38
