Hi All, I have a number of Cherry keyboards I was wondering if anyone could advise their value and if anyone is interested in them.

One is a Pre Production Engineering Sample G86, and I also have a number of Boxed/still sealed G83 Fingertip id boards

any help would be great, Thanks :)

What makes you say the G86 is a pre-production / engineering sample? Any related visual features you can share?

Nice keyboards you've got there! The G86 engineering sample is definitely interesting.

Very interesting!

Sometimes, for prototypes and limited production items, it will help to have a good story to augment the value of the physical item. If you can document some more information on the history of this item and how it fits into the community's overall understanding of the SPOS's timeline, it may raise the value at time of sale.

Otherwise, I'll say that the prototype label weighs in its favor, but the switch implementation (rubber domes I assume?) does not. Unless you have special attention from collectors, you might not get more than 2x - 3x the market value of the typical G86 SPOS.

For reference, the variant of the SPOS that's been traditionally more desirable is the "Ricercar SPOS". See below: I tried to find the original thread, but it might be lost after the forum reset.
