These switches appear to be fairly rare, let alone in a pc compatible keyboard. I was super excited because XT and AT layouts are my favorite layouts, especially when you remap the keys. I love having full control of my pc without moving wrist, toggling num lock and using the nav clusters that way is absolutely splendid. It is very rare to find a new one with a switch I don't own.

To keep this post short, they are horrid switches. They really want to be smooth, but, they just are not. I think it is because they are dirty.

One thing that is interesting, is that there is a horizontal spring, as seen in the picture of the broken switch. THat may not be intentional, may just be because it got jammed in that position when the switch broke. The stem, housing, and switch plate are clearly designed to accommodate a spring. Whenever I get around to it, I will desolder a switch and do a teardown. I've been thinking of making a YouTube channel, so maybe it will be my first video :P

Also, there are no markings on the PCB. There may be some on the side with the mounting plate, but I'm not desoldering every switch.
