Grease for cherry mx switches

I recently got a Filco Majestouch 2 with cherry mx red switches, and coming from a Topre variable silent keyboard the switches just didn't feel as smooth as the topre switches. I can feel the friction between the stem and switch housing, so is it possible to grease this part of the switch to make it feel more smooth?
