To be honest, I'm trying to figure out what would be nice looking on a white G80-3000 base. Maybe a mix of some colors. I'm trying to find different layout pictures on internet to get a better idea.7bit wrote:There will be a group buy happen within the next few months, which will include country specific layouts in different color schemes.rouston wrote:Does anybody know where I could easily buy nice colored keycaps for a Cherry G80-3000 french azerty Keyboard? Do you already have a few color schemes in mind talking about your group buy?

There will be at least a White on Black and an Orange on Black kit available.rouston wrote:To be honest, I'm trying to figure out what would be nice looking on a white G80-3000 base. Maybe a mix of some colors. I'm trying to find different layout pictures on internet to get a better idea.

These where already on the list for the last group buy, but did not make it because there was not enough demand (I've made the mistake to offer these at a higher price than the grey/black (a/k/a Dolch-scheme) standard kit). This time, all these standard kits will be offered at the same price.
Further color-schemes on my list are:
Black on White, Red on White and White on Red.
For all those color schemes, there will be keys available to cover the whole keyboard plus some extra kits, including language specific keys (like French layout).

In the last group buy, the standard kit costs $42 including space bar and some extra keys to cover most keryboards (Filco, Cherry G80-3000 etc.) Maybe, due to a lower quantity it will be around $50 in the next group buy. Shipping costs to Europe are $14. The french kit is at $15 and will cost not much more in the next round. So, total will be less than 60 EUR!rouston wrote:white letters on red keys (if that's the meaning of White on Red) and white letters on black keys would be interesting for instance. But I don't have any idea of a price range...

It will fit: Ducky, Filco, Cherry and many more ..rouston wrote:So it would fit different keyboard brands?
Black on red would be nice as well btw.
I'm more than interested.
The only issues will be with the space bars of the No Poo and Leopold keyboards.
I will set up a poll to find out which colors are prefered.

All except the space bar. The manufacturer of the key caps has got no tools to make that specific space bar.rouston wrote:So these keycaps are compatible with Noppoo Choc Mini as well?

The thread is not at deskthroating.net but at a different, evil site, which goes by the name of geekgack.org .rouston wrote:Would you mind alerting me if there were some still available?7bit wrote:Sure you can! If you don't find it anymore, just look after the largest thread, or ask around. The natives will show you the way ...
