but I keep wondering about people posting timestamps with another name than their DT member name.

After all, the very purpose of the timestamp is to prove you are the person you allege to be,
and I don’t see how this can be achieved other than by identity of DT member name and name on the timestamp.
Anyone could pick up such photos from another forum and say "it’s me".

Excuse me if I don't understand your point... but isn't my DT name exactly the same as in the pictured timestamp?

I linked another timestamp with my reddit nick, but still... the picture uploaded here is showing my DT nick.
