Hey, umm, maybe I didn't express myself clearly enough, but by saying "I would like to take part in this" I wanted to ask you to put me on the list of Round 2. Would that be possible? I'm from Germany.

yesterday the post office was unfortunitaly closed. i`ll send them on monday to Gunny.
yesterday i also have bought some rubber rings and also (its called in german) "Moosgummi" (google translator sais "foam rubber"). When u buy the original soft landingpads they cost araound 12$ and the foam rubber only costs 1€ per A4 sheet in the "Baumarkt".
I`ll put my selfmade soft landingpads in the box so that everyone can test test switches also with the landing pads. I also put in the box some more foam rubber for making more.
What i can say about the landing pads: All switches seem to feel more comfortably then before. They eleminate the bottoming sound completely - so the sound is more solid. And they also decrease the traveling way of the keycap to the bottom.
At the moment i really cant descide wheater MX blues are my favorit or MX browns (both with landing pad)
It is really really really necessary to test all switches before u mack a descision wat keyboard u buy.

Thanks for adding me! But honestly. I'm not that impatient. I think it'd be good for kekekeroro when he wouldnt have to send it to Germany, just for me to send it back to France. And I don't think it would make much difference for zulios except he wouldn't have to wait so long. So is there anybody, who is against exchanging me and zulios on the list? I think it would reduce the shipping times too.
Just as an proposal...

Hello all,
I would love to participate in this initiative. I recently bought a keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches, but now I am left wondering if the tactile bump is really what I want. I've been debating on buying a new keyboard with linear switches, and then I found this thread!
This is exactly what I've been looking for. If it is at all possible, I would like to be added to the list of 'round 2'. I live in the Netherlands, which is close to Germany so shipping shouldn't be too costly.
Is posting here enough to be added to the list, or do I need to contact someone specifically?
Kind regards,
-Khenra

Switches received !
Review:
Blues :
Already tried on a DAS Keyboard I own. Very crisp and sharp tactile bump and sound. They are very noisy and can be both annoying or delightful, depending on your mood. They are also very light switches, it's a breeze to type on them.
Browns :
Already tried on a Filco Majestouch 2 Tenkeyless I own. The tactile bump is much more subtle than blues. They are also supposed to be lighter, but for me, not so much, maybe because of the absence of a sound feedback. Those are very comfortable to type on but feel less sharp.
Clears :
They feel a bit like browns, only heavier, with a slight audio feedback and a more pronounced tactile bump. They don't feel really as good as I expected.
Blacks :
A good surprise ! I didn't think I'd like linear, but the switch feels really good It's somewhat heavy but the travel is very smooth. I have some doubts about typing on it in the long run though.
Ghetto Reds :
A bit like blacks, only lighter.
Reds :
Light linear switch. They feel pretty cheap to me, but may be more comfortable than blacks in the long run.
Clears with brown springs :
Wow, that's pretty awesome. Same "cushion" feeling as browns, only with a sharper bump and a light click.
Greens :
They feel a bit like blues, but heavier and with a more high-pitched click. They feel very satisfying to press.

if everyone is ok with it i would let fsykop jump in front of me, so we have one less transfer over the border which would (i think) shorten the waitingtime for everyone after fyskop.

Nice! This thing is going quicker than I thought.
If not everyone is in agreement of letting the other Belgian guy jump ahead, I'll just send it to ano302 to piss no one off. I think that is the fairest thing to do, nevermind the extra one or two days wait because of the border crossing.. Input anyone?

I would say just stick to the first-come-first-serve format. Maybe for the next round (3) CeeSA can organise an optimal way to send the pack around.

the problem to organise a optimal route is, you have to close the round.
than you could sort by land or whatever.

I'd appreciate if I could be put on the list as well. Not sure if I'd make in the second round? Perhaps the third if so. Also, I live in Sweden and that's pretty close to Germany.
I recently bought my Filco Ninja Majestouch-2 with brown switches and I'm not really sure if it's what I really want. Trying this out would give me the opportunity to decide if I need to order a new keyboard (which is like, totally awesome by the way), but I'm pretty much in love with the brown switches too, haha.
Thanks in advance,
Cable

Sent to Germany.
Now, my problem is, I like the custom switches. Blacks require too much force, and reds not enough. Ghetto reds fall right in between. Custom jobs don't scare me, but the cost does... You have to buy two boards instead of one, to make only one board out of it. Except if anyone sells separate brwon springs or black switches (in which case: pm me). But I'm guessing the demand for brown springs is larger than the offering. When pressed to choose between the standard switches, I'd pick blacks. Ghetto red is actually closer to blacks than to reds, imho.
Same goes for the tactile switches. Clears require too much force, browns are nice but the tactile response is really subtile. Clears with brown springs are ideal. But same objections apply as before.
So my ideal setup would be two boards: ghetto reds and clears with brown springs, so I can change whenever I feel like. But I'm guessing I'm going to have to settle for blacks and browns. Except if I somehow can get the parts I need to make ghetto reds and clears with brown springs.
One more thing. It was really hard to decide. Four keys on a non-functional board give you an idea what kind of switches you like: clicky, tactile, linear, much force, low force, ... But to pick between subtle differences, like brown/clear with brown springs, typing a letter on both fully functional boards would be a more helpful tool.
Nevertheless, thanks for the initiative!

your are only the second guy asking for worldwide.
in the absence of demand for worldwide shipping i keep the second round open.
anyway i could add you for the 3rd round. but there is no date for this until the demand is growing....
btw: is there a switch you don't have? i thought you got many keyboards and switches
