2 weeks ago I bought a X-Keys L-Trac trackball. Sadly, they only make them in black now. The trackball from Amazon arrived a scuffed up. So, I ordered a replacement. The replacement was also scuffed up.
I reached out to P.I. Engineering, and they told me to return one trackball to them, and one to Amazon. Support reached out and told me they would replace the top case, the bottom case and the button assembly. So, I politely asked if there was any way to replace these with beige parts. They found some NOS beige parts in the warehouse and really did me a solid.
I probably have the only glowing blue ball L-Track in beige.
I'm thrilled with the results.
