I've bought a Kensington Expert Trackball, and from what I have read the ball is slightly too small to be replaced with an US sized pool ball. However if you search for "55mm ball" on Ebay you find lots of different "healing balls".
Examples:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Natural-Rock-sw ... 2edd788e60

Has anyone here tried any of these "healing balls" in their Kensington Expert (non-vintage)?

I thought I saw a post on r/trackballs where a guy used a quartz ball in his CST Lasertrac and said that it worked very well (̶a̶l̶t̶h̶o̶u̶g̶h̶ ̶I̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶f̶i̶n̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶l̶i̶n̶k̶)̶.
I assume this would work with one of these as well, it certainly is appealing as it would add more weight and look really cool
Let us know how it goes!
Edit: found the link!
