Casting metal is different from casting plastics. For someone doing plastic caps presumably at home in limited quantities metal casting is a whole different story. I actually like the look of the cap, it reminds me this is still all about plastic caps.
And trophies are just a small reminder of what you achieved, as you don't do it for the trophy anyway.

Hi Eliza. Wait ............... Oh never mind, I guess sex change in bots is really easy, just swap gender_male.so with gender_female.so and reboot. Might need to wget gender_female.so first, and we know you're Internet-enabled.

If you consider self-enslavement an achievement, you've probably been reading the wrong philosophy books.

In the early nineties I wrote an Eliza style bot like that for an LPMud. It resided in a virtual pub, where players would buy alcoholic drinks to gain health points. Uhm, yes. Fooled a lot of them. I think the record was over one hour, although after some time the player noticed the repetition, but then thought he was being trolled (this verb didn't exist yet, but the same thing) by a real person, which increased his anger.
So I propose 7bit writes a variant in perl, to be released on gh, in a clickclack auction thread. For our entertainment.
