Hello all, I'm looking to make a wiki entry on this TeleVideo keyboard. I am using this image from reddit as a placeholder for this post, since I wont get my examples in the mail until tomorrow.
However, this keyboard is not labeled anywhere, has very very few images on the internet, and the pcb just has various markings such as "119873-014 Rev. F", but also has markings stating "A/W NO. 119856 REV A" and "P/N 119857 REV A".
To make matters worse, TeleVideo seemed to use the same three types of keyboard for most of their terminals in the 900 series. There were DEC, AT, or ASCII style layouts available. Should I just label the wiki page as something like "TeleVideo 900-Series (DEC)", or something like "TeleVideo 990 (DEC)"? or maybe just not include the layout at all in the page title and mention that there are three different layout options?
Someone help me out here, I'm not too versed in forum software or how they should be formatted
How do I label this keyboard properly?
The markings on the PCB are pulled from this video on an identical model: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZ3W85FFN-I&t=117s
However, I can't be sure they all use the same part number until I get my examples in the mail tomorrow. Even better, I got two new-old-stock examples, so I'll be able to compare part numbers between them.
And, for those of you who wish to dive a bit deeper into TeleVideo's terminals, here is a pretty useful bank of information on them: https://bitsavers.org/pdf/televideo/
