Deskthority is transforming itself into a club, so we have a healthy structure to pay for our hosting costs, keep the forum and wiki up into the future, and to conquer the world. Read more about that here:

My question is: do you want to be a founding member?
Note that the purpose of this is to have a budget for our founding costs, and to support the club's initial budget. It would be a one-time payment, but I propose this makes you member for a year without additional costs, if wanted, after the club is founded.
We also need to establish the yearly costs of contribution for members once the club is running, where I target something between 10 and 20 EUR, but this is a separate discussion from these one-time founding donations. Note that deskthority will be an open club, you don't need to be a club member to participate (it remains as it is now), you can see it like a gold membership.

I like to keep things moving fast, but depends on how much work on the statutes, if we need non-standard statutes translated into English by notary (so we have them in Dutch and English), and when I can match a free spot on Mrinterface's agenda, mine and the notary's. Maybe two weeks. Maybe a month. If it takes a bit longer... it doesn't matter. Our world rule is inevitable.

No need to! No one needs to break the bank. Seems we will cover the initial costs just fine. And you need that trailer, because otherwise, where would you store your keyboards?RC-1140 wrote:But I can't afford more
I would gladly pay more, but I still need to get and pay for the trailer license, and my bank account is at 50€…
