When do we need to have our pre-orders in by? I only got my first mechanical keyboard (with browns) a couple of weeks back, then grabbed a WASD sample set, and I got on the massdrop buy for a complete ErgoDox with clears, and a second set of pcbs and electrics without switches so I'd like the time to build the first board and do some comparing before I know what I'd like for the second.

I'm not sure right now. MOQ is 1000 switches, so for some switches it might be wise to wait a bit until you pay.

Switches will be delivered around September or October 2013. There is no way I can get them earlier.

Payment/"shipping" update

Payments from Atlas, Jmneuv, whelmingbytes, sirtetris, and luckynet have been received and marked as shipped for Paypal purposes (to keep them from locking up the PP account). Invoices may or may not reflect the payments yet. Keep checking this thread for the actual ship date(s), or spam this thread/7bit via PM the message "WHERE ARE MY SWITCHES, DID YOU SEND THEM YET." This only includes payments to me via Paypal. Note that the address on your Paypal notifications/notes are not necessarily the addresses 7bit will ship your switches to, he ships to the address on your invoice.

Doesn't matter, 7bit will get it right.
As they are (internally) both labelled 'MX' I can't differ if you bought ALPS or Cherry MX.
So I just merge them into one update and post it here.

Yes, would be possible, though shipping is only 4 EUR worldwide.

The easiest way to do this is to write something like

ADDRESS
Please ship along with Round 4 stuff!

This way, in the post office they will tell me there is no proper address on the package so I will take it back to my shipping center ...

I will have to clear out shipping costs manually, so please do not wonder if there are shipping costs in the invoice when you first send your order.
