The trouble with mods is we only have a full set of molds (finally!) in row 3. Other rows have missing sizes. So you have to choose between perfectly sized flat mods or perfect rows with gaps in them. As discussed earlier in the thread, with a list of sizes in question.
SA profile. Gotta love it. You really must, to use it, as it's still a work in progress!
The full row 3 flat red set is a solid idea and I'm glad 7bit's doing it. I like white in full row profiles the way it is, but I understand how some people might want a second choice in colour for a flat alpha set.

First of all a big thanks to 7bit for organizing this group buy.
I would like to order some stuff as well, but as it is my first group buy the amount of options confuse the hell out of me. Maybe somebody can enlighten me a bit. I would like to put QWERTZ key caps on my Ducky Mini and I not a 100% sure what I need.
I think I need the following stuff:
HONEY/SIXTY (60 percent kit | $75)
HONEY/DE (DE language kit | $17)
HONEY/JRET (J-Return key (grey) | $4)
HONEY/SHIFT125 (SHIFT key 1.25 units | $1)
HONEY/SPACE625/GREY (Space (6.25 units; grey) | $3) Is this the correct space bar size?
Am I missing something?

Oh baby baby, how are we supposed to know?
Looks 100% right to me for a Ducky Mini. I would maybe add some black to have all the Honewell colors, but it's not really necessary.

Thanks Halvar. I don't really care about the Honeywell color scheme itself. I just want to have a QWERTZ layout with nice thick key caps.Halvar wrote:Oh baby baby, how are we supposed to know?

No, you only need that once.Kalcifer wrote:Sorry if this has been asked before.
I'm trying to order more on top of my existing order. Will the following suffice to 7bot?
HONEY/TKL
HONEY/TKL/RED
Will I need to type my email and address again each time I send 7bot a new message?
Cheers.
If you orderded this already:
HONEY/TKL
And want 2x HONEY/TKL and one HONEY/TKL/RED:
HONEY/TKL 2
HONEY/TKL/RED
Can't be simpler!

Awesome, thanks 7bit!7bit wrote:RECORD button added to HONEY/FUNCTION2 and HONEY/FUNCTION2/RED.
I've ordered far too many keys for one board - I've got an a MX 8200 in mind in the absence of a 2100... But maybe the 8200 layout is nearer the Honeywell terminal's layout.
Any thoughts on a row 3 deep dish HOME key for the row 2/4 + shape cursor?

Now that we have correctly sized SHIFT and RETURN keys, could there maybe be a kit for ROUND4/SPH with just those three keys in BFP (blue, with white legends of course)?
You could probably get everyone who ordered ROUND4/SPH to buy one of those.

Something like this?
ROUND4/SPH/SHIFTRETURN: the aforementioned Shifts and ANSI Return, now in proper size, uniform row 3.
ROUND4/SPH/SHIFTR4: the row correct addition to the above, with SHIF Ts in row 4, closest available size.
ROUND4/SPH/JRET: the doubleshot ISO Return key that I heard is possible now too.

45.1% of 25000 key caps ordered.kzhk wrote:What means (45.1%) in the title ?
25000 key caps is the MOQ for this group buy, otherwise the prices would be higher.

How's about an ESCAPE, PANIC, or VIM key in place of CAPS LOCK for the people that swing that way?
Also, a certain multinational European mountain range.

Ask for that another couple of times, and it's off to the funny farm with you, where you can share a room with Dirge until he gets his function row!zhasha wrote: Also, a certain multinational European mountain range.
But I do like the idea of Caps Lock alternatives, other than Control. I always use it for Function myself. cAPS lOCK iS dANGEROUS1

ESCAPE as 1.75 units key, stepped and full-touch might be OK, but the others?

I just meant one of them, not all. It seems to be commonplace for vim users to turn CAPS LOCK into ESCAPE. At least I do it, so there's that.7bit wrote:ESCAPE as 1.75 units key, stepped and full-touch might be OK, but the others?
After all, who in the world actually uses cAPS lOCK?
