I have to admit that I don't really understand why the numpad kits have ~ and &. What do you use those for when you enter numbers? Wouldn't %, $, € or backspace be handier there?

I suppose I need to try more, but habit makes me hit the middle of the 2u + key, so I never seem to get on well with two different keys there. I'm also not sure what I would want in the gap, I don't concatenate numbers much so wouldn't find & too useful, % maybe, but then the magic of the 8200 is that there's an extra column next door for a good selection of useful symbols (or silly keys). Tab and backspace are also cool to have there. I guess the answer is to buy as many keys as possible to cover all options7bit wrote:U mad???facetsesame wrote:...
Thanks for that! So I'll use a normal Enter, then if I do want a 2u + I'll need a POS key and to disable one of the switches. I just can't decide if I want to do that or go with 1u for the rest - for me the lack of a 2u + is the most annoying thing about 122 layouts.
I'd like them to be 1 units all of them. With the 1 unit + key you get an extra key which I use for &.

The lack of a specific row 2 UP in all the cursor kits can be addressed by buying an additional kit (to get an additional row 4 DOWN which can be rotated 180 degrees, making a row 2 UP by magic). Aren't you in favour of this?7bit wrote:I'm looking into thetriangle arrow issue ...

The arrow I'm most after is row 2 UP in the triangle kits, of course, which I have ordered in black and might extend to other colours too. But those other cursor kits become more interesting with row 2 + row 4 support, too.
By the way: is Jefferai still good for PayPal? I finally have the dollars to make a decent payment today!

Use whoever the latest invoice tells you to use. I think there's a way to have the bot resend an invoice...maybe a blank message?Muirium wrote:I'm all in favour of sneaky bits of magic.facetsesame wrote:The lack of a specific row 2 UP in all the cursor kits can be addressed by buying an additional kit (to get an additional row 4 DOWN which can be rotated 180 degrees, making a row 2 UP by magic). I'm not sure about the CURSORS kit pic vs the list on the 16th:
Everything matches except the three row 2 arrow keys. Instead there are the following two keys (so total 21 instead of 22):
HONEY/CURSORS |R4U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |\uparrow - this is the row 2 \downarrow
HONEY/CURSORS |R2U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |UP - this isn't shown in the pic
So the pic shows a row 2 left and right arrow that aren't on the list, instead of these the list has a row 2 UP key.
Are you able to keep the row 2 UP as on the list, and also add the missing row 2 \uparrow we've been longing for to the list? This will total 22 keys like in the picture. To keep the number of keys at 22, the row 2 \leftarrow and \rightarrow can be removed, as they already exist as the row 4 arrow keys. Here's my suggestion: I hope this makes sense.
Code: Select all
HONEY/CURSORS |R4U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |LEFT
HONEY/CURSORS |R4U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |DOWN
HONEY/CURSORS |R4U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |RIGHT
HONEY/CURSORS |R4U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |\leftarrow
HONEY/CURSORS |R4U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |\downarrow
HONEY/CURSORS |R4U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |\rightarrow
HONEY/CURSORS |R4U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |UP
HONEY/CURSORS |R4U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |\uparrow
HONEY/CURSORS |R3U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |LEFT
HONEY/CURSORS |R3U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |DOWN
HONEY/CURSORS |R3U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |RIGHT
HONEY/CURSORS |R3U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |\uparrow
HONEY/CURSORS |R3U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |\uparrow
HONEY/CURSORS |R3U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |\uparrow
HONEY/CURSORS |R3U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |UP
HONEY/CURSORS |R3U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |\uparrow
HONEY/CURSORS |R2U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |LEFT
HONEY/CURSORS |R2U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |DOWN
HONEY/CURSORS |R2U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |RIGHT
HONEY/CURSORS |R4U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |\uparrow
HONEY/CURSORS |R2U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |UP
HONEY/CURSORS |R4U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |\uparrow - this is the row 2 \downarrow
HONEY/CURSORS |R2U100 |WFK (White)|GPA (Gray) |UP - this isn't shown in the pic

Sure does make sense, facetsesame. I'd love to see this implemented in the triangle arrow kits too. Concave cursor options for all!

Sorry, just uploaded the current */CURSORS version.
They contain all keys except the duplicate row 4 left right arrows (which are the same as row 2 right left) and with the extra row 2 UP.

Aha, thank you! So, good news: Row 2 UP is included and duplicate keys are not!7bit wrote:Sorry, just uploaded the current */CURSORS version.

Bad news: kit is "now" "only" 21 keys instead of 22 and doesn't have the magic row 2 \uparrow key. So a second kit is still required for 2/4 or 2/3/4.
How do you best phrase this? 2/4 is a musical time signature, 2 up/2 down is a terraced house...
Thanks The CURSYM kits though don't seem to have had the same situation, all the legends are reversible and there were no duplicated keys.Muirium wrote:Sure does make sense, facetsesame. I'd love to see this implemented in the triangle arrow kits too. Concave cursor options for all!
So after that last pic update, it's confirmed the CURSOR and CURSYM are the same: an extra row 2 up must be begged to be added or two kits bought. Somehow I feel as if I'm back where I started.

Banks are sometimes paranoid, I have accounts in two different banks and one of it forces me to mail them a confirmation paper if I want to do an online SEPA transfer to a new account outside the country or to add this account to my favourite
BTW I made a transfer into my payment account few days ago but it's not on it (the other bank seems to be still working on markets with it) so please 7bit don't erase my order on Monday, I'll make the full payment this next days.
