Dumb question, but is there an official gallery of Round 5 keyboard pictures? I see a bunch of awesome photos scattered throughout the thread, but I don't have time to go through and find each and every one. Would be much nicer if there were a central place to go through and see all of them.
Would also like to see the same for previous rounds as well.
Is there any official galleries thusfar? Are there any plans to make one? I certainly didn't see anything linked from the wiki page(s).

Just go through The Cappening. Most of the thread is pictures.flyinglotus1983 wrote:Dumb question, but is there an official gallery of Round 5 keyboard pictures? Okay, I just poured through all the Cappening porn, and I'm glad I ordered full R5a sets in every color (well, except violet and cream). But I gotta ask (now that I am aware of the issue): are we supposed to have row 3 shift keys with these sculpted SA sets? Muirium made an off-hand comment in the Cappening thread about waiting for the day to come when row 4 shift keys will become available. Are we waiting for KeycapGodot?

Are you certain?notmatt wrote: ↑I'm pretty sure Murium is referring to the particularly poor kerning on shift keys that make them look more like "SHIF T". I've got R4 shift keys from Round 5, and at the TKL kits show R4 shift keys in 5a.
Take a look where the space bar should be.
I'm 99% sure SP still hasn't produced the Row 4 Shift molds for SA. That would be big news.

Further evidence is in this layout diagram for Round 5a:
The SHIFT keys are specifically called out as row 3, even though they bookend row 4 keys.

The HONEYB/FUNCTION set on the wiki still shows three undefined key legends (legend44, legend45, and legend46). Is there still time to make a request to make one of those a row 1 BREAK key?

Yup. There's two bad things about the shift keys. They are row 3. And they actually do say SHIF T on them, no matter how much complaining 7bit does to SP about that.
They're not horrible, but they are not perfect either.
SP ought to make some molds for 2.25 and 2.75u row 4 caps. In fact, 2.25 row 3 was a new size for Round 5, previously we had to put up with crappy 2.0u caps for Return and left Shift. But the way of the MassDrop really caught their eye and all their efforts are on PMK these days. Ugh.
So don't hold out. You will indeed be waiting for Godot.

Hey guys sorry newbie question! Sent a pm to 7bot per the instructions and followed the format yesterday. Was hoping to get an invoice and make the 50% payment deadline, but doesn't look like he's gotten to the message (stuck in my outbox).
Guess I'll hang out and see if I can get in on this or not!

Sounds like they could have been locked by PayPal.
This whole PayPal collectors system is monumentally stupid, by the way. Always looking for new collectors once people hit their lousy little limits. And confusing the shit out of everyone, every time.
And no, I don't know a better option for 7bit. Even if he used PayPal himself. Well, unless they do a commercial version (which I've got to assume they do).

You'll get an invoice very soon, usually within 24 hours in my experience. Payment(s), however, may not be reflected in an invoice for a while though. Payments go to evilcamels, not 7bit, and I don't know how often evilcamels updates the account records, but he eventually does. Patience (eternal patience, it feels like sometimes) is the name of the game here.jasonwongzero wrote: ↑Hey guys sorry newbie question! Oh, and every message you send is saved in your outbox (until you delete it), so don't worry that it is "stuck" there. It isn't.

I feel compelled to repeat my request for a row 1 "BREAK" key as one of the undefined key legends of the HONEYB/FUNCTION set since my previous attempt may have been swamped by this resent spate of posts (and 7bit will never see it)...

That's awesome! Somehow it didn't make it to BLUE or WHITE, at least based on those images. I plan to get them all, but it's BLUE that is key for me... (no pun intended).

@t8c I am sorry about your issues, I have an unlimited PayPal account so it isn't a limit that has been hit, were you sending USD?
I am pushing the latest update for the 50% deadline right now. Any payments I received before then will make it past the deadline. I will be offline for the next week, so any payments after this post will not be updated until the 22nd and will not make the deadline.

Yeah I tried yesterday and this morning, didnt work. I did manage to send 150 out of the 304 dollars yesterday morning but I also needed to make some additional adjustments to my order so I hope it works out in the end.

Two questions:
1. So am I correct in understanding that when you order a TLK or TLKBASE set that it does not include a spacebar? I need to order the spacebar separately, yes?
2. Do all the sets go into production at the same time? Meaning that until the MOQ is met for everything in Round 5a, nothing at all gets produced? Or are things manufactured as their individual MOQs are met? Or some other clumping algorithm?
For instance, if I am reading my invoice(s) correctly, I am the only person who has ordered any of the 625 spacebars (which I ordered due to my assumption in question 1); does that mean I could end up with full sets of everything else and have no spacebars simply because nobody else needs/orders them and so their MOQ is never met?

Feh. Obviously I'm not the only one ordering spacebars...ignore that nonsense. Seems to confirm my question #1 though. My question #2 still stands though; I'm curious how the various order quantities govern what SP produces and when. And what, exactly, does the "Pcs" column signify? Total available for an item? Or the MOQ for an item?
