I wish there was a way SP could improve their SA moulds to accommodate quicker, cheaper production, with a lower quantity requirement.

Especially considering how popular every set they do ends up being! I can only assume that the equipment involved is incredibly custom and expensive meaning even with us lot throwing money at them, it wouldn't pay itself off for ages.rominronin wrote:I wish there was a way SP could improve their SA moulds to accommodate quicker, cheaper production, with a lower quantity requirement.

At least they got a payment to cover at least one of the colors (white, red, grey or black), plus we will send another payment next week that covers almost everything except one color.

Agreed. My guess is they don't trust that the wave of interest in SA is more than a temporary fad. It would be a big investment for them, and it would hurt a lot of everyone got tired of SA all of a sudden.eddible wrote: ↑Especially considering how popular every set they do ends up being! That or they just don't have theb time/money/people. It's a pretty small operation.
And the final possible explaination is that we (mech keyboard hobbyists) just aren't their core business. They may not actually give a crap about pushing out more caps to satisfy our craving. What they fail to understand is that, unlike their industrial clients, our caps make us happy! Sort of.
My guess is it's a little of all three of these.

If they show up in your emailed invoice's top two sections, they'll be yours.maximm wrote: ↑Hi, some of the items in my order im paying for today are gone from the Wiki. Are those marked for me, or did someone else buy them?
While I have a hard time imagining it would be profitable enough as a core business, satisfying these GBs, and creating, maintaining, and marketing PMK has to cost enough that it's also hard to imagine they really don't care.c2lknt wrote: ↑And the final possible explaination is that we (mech keyboard hobbyists) just aren't their core business. @maximm Maybe that's not OK. You put the bank name as address, that meant you marked the money as being for bought goods. "Mark the money as being paid for a service", you should pay without address.maximm wrote: ↑I want to pay my invoce but when paying it is asking for Adress. What should i put there?
I just put in the bank name, hope thats ok.

7bit kept telling us there's some remakes to be done. Isn't it good news they're supposed to be in production?khongthenhuvay wrote: ↑Round 6 - Phase 1 (SA)

Even if you've ordered R5 leftovers and requested that they ship separately, you'll end up waiting months and months for those too...
2-3 times I've seen 7bit say that they were shipping soon, after he got back from vacation, etc, but ... nothing.
Has anyone received R5 leftovers that they ordered at the same time as R6, *and* requested that they ship on their own?

No offense to 7bit, just sharing info and you are right. It is both bad and good news.Wodan wrote: ↑7bit kept telling us there's some remakes to be done. Isn't it good news they're supposed to be in production?
- Good: Bad keys will be remaked.
- Bad: Bad keys could be numerous. We have to wait more and more

Oh! I didn't realise that round 6 has been received by customers already. Is there a thread for showing them off? I would like to see something like the cappening thread for the round 6 caps.
Even reviving the cappening thread would satisfy...

No, no one has any R6 keys yet (not even 7bit, as far as I know). R5 leftovers ≠ R6. The same old Round 5 caps that are already being shown of in the cappening thread, in other words.
