8 blades are lame because they make only 8 pointed sun stars, while 7 make 14 pointed and 9 make 18 pointed sunstars.

odd number of blades -> number of spikes=2*number of blades
even number of blades -> number of spikes=number of blades

or just buy a filter

this nerdom is better with the blue sun key and zoidberg (isn't it the Matt Groening's Cthulhu? )
for the win logo, you chose the better. I didn't know this first logo and it must be the only one I would like to put on a board : it will be nice with AwesomeWM.

Can you name all the references of the nerdom ? (again ) I ever see this 1.25u W key but I can't remember where :/

I'm a little tired now, I'll review them once again tomorrow. I'm still not sure about a couple of things. I added a Lost+Found set where I put all the keys I was suggested and I didn't know where to place. Also the Ergodox is still not defined, but I hope we all agree on the number of keys at least. The nerdom maybe has become too big. I might remove some keys, still waiting for your feedback on the colors (do we need the light gray ones?).

I think Nerdom being all one colour makes the most sense. For example, if someone wants to use two of them as "Windows" key replacements. I think them all being mod colour is best.

It doesn't bother me to have all the nerdom kit in dark gray but will the coloured keys be sufficiently contrasted ?
Maybe you can set the bluesun corp logo in blue, depends on contrast, price and your taste of course.

I see you remove the Win1 logo Licence problems or philosophy issues? too bad, it's a nice one. In the same spirit, the Apple exposé key can be an alternative. I say that but I'm still glad with super/diamond key and nerdom

the colored legends would stay on light gray, but having 8 light gray nerdoms would let you replace the whole function row.

yeah, I know, but we already have the diamond. It would really be a surplus key. Also we have a ton of keys in the nerdom, so...

the nerdom seems very controversial. I thought being "super" keys having super heroes logos would have been nice. But they are considered lame nowadays, so I guess I have to remove them.

Also it seems that having a cheaper set is preferable to more options. So I reduced the kit once more. I hope linux users will appreciate the X11 + Wayland logos.



It also seems that people is more attached to brands than to icons. So DT/GH/Phantom/Zoidberg/NERV win hands down to pi/tux/space-invaders/glider/atom.

It's really only the number of keys in that kit that matters, we can change the legend up to the very last moment.

Oh finally the "soft kitty, warm kitty" key and the YO mods comes back I like the atom icon too but the nerdom is already too nice to me : there is so much legends I like, including kitties, and so few places I can put them on my keyboards Hopefully you didn't add a Cylon icon or a mandala, else I must be searching to buy another board
Splitting the lost+found kit is hard, sorry no idea for it. It's hard to find something bad when a project comes near perfection.

Thanks to you Matteo, you work really hard by making a lot of compromise. You are very open to suggestions and try to please us, I suppose we gives you many headaches. All the credit is yours, constantly communicating with SP, we just do the easy part of judging and complaining. Our help in this GB is nothing without your impulsion and your personal tastes (Frak, I love your BlueSun key) so don't be modest : you rocks
