Oh something for the FAQ.
If you sent a pm for an item and it doesn't appear in your next invoice, it might be out of stock. With every invoice comes a full list of the remaining items so scroll down in your invoice and search for the item you are missing to see if it's currently in stock. The list in the invoice is always up to date while the wiki might be a little outdated.

Thank you. That explains everything.
However this ended up good for me cause I received ipdated invoice with all I need.
One thing need to confirm.
Is HONEYB/SIXTYBASE/GREY actually going to fit regular tkl keyboard? I mean cap size wise?

I don't see why it wouldn't. There are rare instances of older Filco boards where the cases are a little too tight around the edges to fit SA keycaps perfectly. But in general, the size of SA keycaps is not an issue for modern keyboards.

Guyscwhat kind of delivery did you choose in general?
Standard is not secured right?
That extra $3 adds tracking but not secured right?

The SIXTYBASE kit is meant for keyboards with 1.25u bottom row modifiers, which means it will fit any "normal" 60% or TKL board on the market. Oddball layouts (like the HHKB) will need caps from the specialty kits.phinix wrote: ↑Cool thanks. I thought maybe if its for 60 keyboards it wont fit cause they are x1 caps, not x1.25

Question:
I got my invoice corrected today. All good.
Now, I know we should make a payment for services, not goods.
However when in Paypal - I only get option to pay "for goods or services", or send a gift.
There is no separate options for goods and for services.
What should I do?
EDIT: Nevermind, I did what 7bit showed on payment details and it was to use that goods or services option.
Payment made. Happy days:)
I added $3 for tracking, I hope that is automatically translated for it?
Well.. now waiting started.
I ordered red, white, grey and black, so phase 2....

Would this mean that we can/could expect phase 2 by end of the year?7bit wrote: ↑phase 1: SPH. BLUE, CREAM, VIOLETT (in production; wrong legends are being remade)
phase 2: WHITE, GREY, RED, BLACK (will be produced in October)

No, it just means its expected to begin production in October. It'll take some time to produce (and longer if there are any errors that need to be corrected like in Phase 1), then the bulk shipment will be sent to 7bit, and then it will be broken up into orders and shipped to us. We should see them some time in 2017, probably earlier than later.

Let's be optimistic - they start making them in end of October, finish end of November, 7bit will get them in December and start sending just for Christmas!

No way Christmas, shipping from SP and clearing customs need 1 month and at least 1 month more for sorting caps before sending them to you.phinix wrote:You're breaking my heart...

Christmas 2017 would be a better estimation.

Not terribly, no.
There are simply too many delaying phenomena involved. I wouldn't even count on October production.
I would consider us lucky if production of phase 2 begins sometime in January of next year. Production will take at least a month, probably longer. Corrections will have to be scheduled in between other product runs coming from MassDrop, which means fully corrected phase 2 probably won't be completed until May. They will reach 7bit sometime in June if we're lucky. Then it takes him at least two months to sort, package, and send out orders.
Just look how long it is taking phase 1 to reach us and it was scheduled to begin production back in February. It is already July and, as far as I know, phase 1 caps aren't even in 7bit's hands yet.

It is also worth noting that before it was even split into two phases, Round 6 was expected to begin production last November. So judging from past history (including Round 5, which was also a 2+ year endeavor), even if we assume that phase 2 begins production this November, the chances of phase 2 caps landing in any of our mailboxes before next summer is very slim.

I got an updated invoice still saying I owe $129 that was already paid. Not too stressed about it, just thought I should bring it up here.

Unfortunately, the FAQ link itself will get lost in the pages and pages and pages. Unless there's a post on every page (a post like this one!) that points out that new readers should CHECK OUT THIS FAQ, IT'S VERY HELPFUL!CollinMel wrote: ↑Instead of repeating infos - how about a supplemental FAQ …zslane wrote: ↑Would it be too much to ask that you scroll back a few pages and discover the answer in a previous post? OK, I understand.
In this case I need some SA keycaps now to kill that waiting...
I guess there is no other ready to buy SA caps right now, or in near future (1-2 months availability)?

I can definitely sympathize, phinix. You are in the same position I was in this time last year. I spent months acquiring used SA (and DSA) keycaps just to have something nice to put on my boards until Round 6 shipped. I've been using Round 4 SPH and PuLSE on my main keyboards since last Fall. They have been keeping me sane. I'm content for now, but I am most definitely not a fan of having to scour classified threads here and on GeekHack just to acquire some decent sphericals. Ugh.
