No, I bought a sample bag of Cherry MX switches from WASD to try out. I was extremely disappointed so I figured I'd try these very well received ALPS compatibles and sent off a PM to CherryMX (account owned by 7bit, right?) about ordering 2 of each Matias switch, so I could try them out before getting or making a keyboard. On my scale, 100 Cherry switches are around 156-163g, while these Matias Alps are around 183g. They really feel much better than Cherry (compared to clears and blues). The springs are a little lighter than clears and feel less scratchy.
