The right shift actually aprears also in the regular modifier kits.
I really hope you will think over the pricing system, because a lot of people would like to buy these kits, but at such high price levels, won't ever!

I'll talk about it with samwisekoi today. Hope to be able to work that out. But every time we say that we MAY charge some kits to lower the price of others I and samwisekoi get flooded by PMs.7bit wrote: Kit 10 is a bit different in that respect. I really don't get the point why you don't add some little to high volume kits to cover these costs. I also made low quantity kits more expensive, but I never in that way you do this here.
Really, last time samwisekoi contacted me because he couldn't understand what was going on.
Edit: I also proposed to revisit kit10 and 11 to try to lower the cost... that wasn't an option.

Sorry, but as I think nothing will change I will only order key caps to cover 1, 1.5 and 2 units, so I will not order any of the 1.25, 1.75 etc kits.
I could see the problem in Round 4: Raising prices is a very bad thing to do. You really did the mistake of posting prices which many people believe will be for real, but you still need to cover some costs like shipping to you etc.

it is clearly stated that the final cost will be higher to cover those costs.7bit wrote:You really did the mistake of posting prices which many people believe will be for real, but you still need to cover some costs like shipping to you etc.
Also I'd like to buy the tooling for the left stem'd caps/control. If it costs $3500, that would be $0.6 per kit ordered, which is pretty reasonable. BUT DON'T FLOOD samwisekoi with PM, this is just one crazy idea. We have to discuss about it.
I'm sorry if I did some mistakes, first GB here, next time I'll do better.

I really wonder if open talking like this (i mean teansparency) is so good.
Because, some kind of "secret" is always needed, i don't believe most of people are mature enough to think farther than their own nose.

I would pay via bank transfer as well, but only if there is a european proxy for that. My bank charges like ~30Euro for a bank transfer outside of the european union / SEPA

Thank you for your honesty. My experience in the majority of these community GBs, most of which span both sites directly or indirectly, has been overwhelmingly positive. Almost to a fault. When something doesn't go well for the organizer, whether it's their fault or not, the community will usually swoop-in and help out if they can. Some people do it because they just want their keys. However, I think a lot of buyers understand the amount of work it takes to run one of these and that things sometimes don't go as planned.matt3o wrote:we are trying to go before toxic and another I can't remember the namemintberryminuscrunch wrote:can't you move the deadline one or two weeks? sp is busy anyway

I'm trying to. So far so good. No big problems arose, so I'm pretty confident this can be a smooth GB. I already spend a fair amount of time on this, if hassle is overwhelming I'll step back, anyway there's always samwisekoi, don't worry this GB will have an happy ending.rknize wrote: There will always be those that do not see it this way and will complain. QFR is like filco I believe, so DSA is fine.kwago wrote:will the new DSA spacebar work with both a Leopold TKL and a QFR?
Leopold I'm afraid it needs the universal DCS spacebar.
Look at the stems. That's the easiest way.

main payment system is PayPal. Everyone hates it but we have to use it.
we are discussing if we need to set up alternatives.
the problem with wire transfer is the time needed by the money to arrive. In US I believe it's 1-2 days. In Europe it may take 1 week.

I experienced SEPA/IBAN to be fairly quick. I received bank transfers from Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands within 5 days max.
Depends on the bank, me thinks.

yes, 1 week is reasonable. It means though that who wants to pay by wire transfer has to do it the first day we start collecting money (payment window is 1 week)

I will place an order before the orders are closed. Can't miss that
I would also prefer to pay via IBAN transfer. It's better and safer not to use Paypal.
Your order form is the best I've ever seen.
