I'd suggest saving the top hat (if it survives the current debate) for the double stepped "hat" keys.
And if you must follow the er, theme above, the HONEY in FUNCTION2 should be sufficient if misinterpreted. Failing that, I believe some German 122 'boards have a LEER (as in clear) key.

They did a great job. I suspect the logo is ideal for engraving as it has clean lines and a single contrasting colour. Not cheap though, I suspect.Muirium wrote:Incidentally, the DT cap I posted above is SA. Nice and thick, too. But it's not doubleshot. It's engraved.
Ok, here is my G80-8200 based tribute to the Honeywell terminal boards (thanks to keyboard-layout-editor.com):

Wait! That had been made by SP?rindorbrot wrote:The DT Logo should already exist as a mold. It was in the valentine set afaik.Muirium wrote:What a boys club it is around here!
How about a top hat key? Or a DT cap that looks more like this:
I'm pretty sure there's a DT cap already in my order. But is the logo itself doable in double shots?
But that was DCS...
Are the molds for the legends compatible?
I'd sure love a DT 2shot cap

It was in the Surprise Box, so I don't know its origin. It's one hell of a nice cap, though. I'll take some closeups when I can.

Hm, could any old engraving company have done it to an existing cap? It's A Who Dunnit again.

I think I have also one or more of these. It's the company that did also those fat ass orange halflife keycaps. Forgot the name...facetsesame wrote:Hm, could any old engraving company have done it to an existing cap? It's A Who Dunnit again.

Ah, ok. Devlin.
7bit, do you plan for the R3U200H zero key to have a left aligned 0 like Round 4? A centred 0 like on the Honeywell keyboards might be nice, but if not so much if new tooling is required.

You need a 1.75 units full-touch CAPS LOCK on that keyboard. A stepped does not work here.facetsesame wrote:They did a great job. And another mystery: who's behind Ducky's Dyesubs?
(From their homepage. The link just goes to Facebook.)
Those legends look about as good as Topre's.

Oh sweet Geebus you've changed the colour availabilities AGAIN. Now with GREY and black which is just to DIE FOR.
Please don't get angry here, but I need to do some modifications here to get me some of that Grey coloured love. Sorry but that's what happens when you dangle such extra colourations into our faces like that. It's almost sadistic in a way.
I always try to avoid this place but by chance - I noticed these new colourways......

Here are my modified plans:
This one will be in three parts, with the arrow cluster and the numpad being separate. The main board will have a BeagleBone Black inside, so it will be a standalone pc, hence "power" button. I might even add an FPGA board to the guts. QWERTY layout is shown, but I am getting HONEY/COLEMAK, so I will probably be using that: This one will be a tenkeyless plus numpad. QWERTY is my only option here, but it will do. I may or may not keep the red keys in this plan, depending on how they look when I get them: I honestly need to have the keycaps in front of me to truly finalize my layouts, at which point I will draw up the plans for the plates, and get some quotes for that. I'm thinking of getting some Monoprice MX Blue boards to harvest for the switches. I'll wire it up with wires and diodes, so no big PCB needed.

If there's going to be some more alterations here, I fear I may need to "CLEARALL" everything and start from scratch again.t!ng wrote:A Transmit-key would be nice for Enter-key.
LIKE I said.......hate this place now, too much on offer and so little time left to re-configure everything .

Yes alright, you're starting to sound like my dad already. I changed only a small amount and yep it still remained under the amount I had to pay originally.7bit wrote:I've told you already: You've set your priorities wrong!!!

HONEY/MUIRIUM/BLANK isn't on the wiki. Everyone wants a piece of that! Well, if they can use row 3 blanks and need ALL THE COLOURS.
TRANSMIT action aplenty lives in HONEY/FUNCTION/RED.
For almost all your transmission needs. So long as they're horizontal, and red…
