I know. I'm not the US-proxi. I don't know why he took so long.
The stuff will be here RSN!!!!
Really.
ps: Whatever you ordered, you get a refund. (I don't know when the stuff will ever arrive, but I know that it will arrive some day, becuase I trust the US proxy.)
You can also use it for R4 or the Phantom group buy. Want some cool switches?

7bit, can we have another update please? I need a few bits and pieces from Unicomp, and I'm wondering whether to give up on this group buy and approach them directly.
I'm also (provisionally) signed up to the Round 4 group buy. However, I really think this group buy needs to be resolved one way or the other before the Round 4 group buy proceeds any further.

Unicomp has been out of stock on those for a long time. Only industrial shells for full size model M boards were available in this GB.Grond wrote:Has anyone here ordered an industrial ssk top shell and badly wants to get rid of it as soon as it ships?

Somehow, I've got the feeling that it goes into the wrong direction.
I had this once with a package shipped within Germany. On the next day it arrived where it started and then took its way in the right direction.

Last I heard from 7bit the package left customs at frankfurt and then was delivered to customs in berlin, where they are currently holding it until 7bit can provide extra documentation.

If Unicomp wants to sell anything in the Euro-market ..
THEY HAVE TO SPARE US FOR THIS NONSENSE !!
If I order for more than 28$ ..
I have to pay 30$ customs-processing fee and 25% VAT ON THE ENTIRE INVOICE..
INCLUDING SHIPPING !!
Sorry, but UNICOMP needs to figure out a way to prevent this ridiculous price-inflation .
All this 'Made in the USA' is fine .
But if it prevents you from selling anything outside the USA ?
What's the point ?
I know it's hard to swallow for Americans, but you have to realize that you are not the Centre of the known Universe
any more .
If Unicomp wants a presence on the EU market they will need to figure out a way to move their products to our market
without all those extra expenses .
