Well, most of the labels are already there, just in the wrong places. There's a diagram here (third "diagram" down): https://github.com/dhardy/keyboard/blob/master/cyborg16
List (all gray):
1.5×1, R1: Esc, =/+
R2: Tab, -/_
R3: Backspace, '/@ (or '/" would do)
R4: Shift × 2 (these are available as individual keys already)
1×1, R3: Ctrl×2, Super (or Meta), Compose (or Menu or Meta), Alt, AltGr (possibly red or black), home, end, pgup, pgdown, 4 arrow keys
1×1, R2: back, forward, ins, something (or just blank, these aren't too important)
2×1 (vertical), R3: enter, space, backspace, delete

Text diagrams make my eyes hurt! Grey alphas are one of the more expensive options on Round 5. We only talked 7bit into doing them quite recently.

Probably it has something to do with the general clutteredness of the diagram, sorry (it also looks better in a proper text editor).
Hmm, well if I could at least get the R1 Esc, R2 tab, R3 backspace, and 1×1 R3 alt, home/end and pageup/pagedown keys without too much else included that would be nice. Or even just the home/end and page up/down keys. That would be great

I viewed it as an exercise in creativity. My ErgoDox will pretty much only have correctly labeled alphas, but the other keys will be interesting and fun, even if I have to remember that PANIC is, say, backspace.tups wrote:Probably it has something to do with the general clutteredness of the diagram, sorry (it also looks better in a proper text editor).

Are the plans still ON for replacements of the R4 SPH caps which were engraved and not doubleshot? I believe you said earlier that molds had been made and that replacements for those SPH caps would be made.

Red, eh?
I'd like to pick up some row 4 Shifts, but their prices are all over the place. Not surprising as the red ones aren't in any kits at all, and the greys are only in a handful of them.
How much pain would it be to throw a HONEY/SHIFT175/R4 into every (grey mod) TENKLESS and STANDARD kit, I wonder?
I'd like a 1.75u and 2.0u r4 SHIFT in grey and red, some which way…

Very good, wizard, very good. If you do manage to summon up some black row 4 Shifts and a 1.75 r4 red Shift, do tell us about it. (Not that I'll even bother to ask for white ones. How are white mods doing now, anyway?)
I'd take a set of every row 4 Shift size and colour you can make, plus matching single unit r4 FUN keys! The ROW4/REPAIR kit.

Row 4 Shift is intriguing, but then I realized that I use the side of my finger to reach it. Doesn't sound too comfortable.

Yes. Row 3 has molds now for every size we require. (You have to go out to weird stuff like 5 unit space bars (yes please!) to find the gaps.) But row 4 is much more spotty. No 1.25 unit, which means no ISO left Shift. But I'm interested in other options.sean4star wrote:Are the shift keys typically Row 3? So, offset from the alpha profile in the same row? I must have missed that discussion in the 109 page thread...

1.25, 2.25 and 2.75 unoits are only available in row 3.sean4star wrote:Are the shift keys typically Row 3? So, offset from the alpha profile in the same row? I must have missed that discussion in the 109 page thread...

So, yes they are in row 3. While I don't like TAB and BACK SPACE to be row 3 instead of row 2, row 3 SHIFT is no problem and eases up orientation.

Somewhere in a lab, a mad scientist tweaked an old IBM model M so much that it became self-aware. Deskthority is its evil plan to spread and replicate and round 5 is its way to fund its rise to total world domination...under Deskthoritarian regime, human beings will be reduced to slavery, typing on mechanical keyboards 15 hours a day

All this time, I thought 7bit was trying to encourage us to use 7bot, now I see that 7bot has such savvy that it has an alter ego to do its shilling for it!kzhk wrote: I think 7bit is a script that 7bot runs when it happens to be online.

Usually within 7 days. I currently don't clear orders that are not paid but some while bnefore the deadline I will do that. If your order got cleared, you can just send your order again and pay (within the deadline).
The main for this: The prices depend on the number of orders, so at some stage, I can only accept paid orders. Also: It will take VERY long until you get your money back if you change your mind. Next time I will add a clause that says there will only be money back if the order does not arrive or is incomplete.
When I buy from an internet shop, the only reason for jumping off the pruchase is if the item is wrong or defect, but never just because I suddenly need my money for something else or I changed my mind, so I can't understand that attitude of first paing and then wanting a refund. Why send the money in the first place?

I'm assuming that's aimed partly at me. Sorry for having to cut my order down, but when I decided what I could afford back in October I had a job, and now I have no job. I've had to sell three of my keyboards, so it wouldn't have made any sense to keep my order for three full-size kits. I've cut it back to three 60% kits instead, as my only remaining MX board is a Poker.7bit wrote:Next time I will add a clause that says there will only be money back if the order does not arrive or is incomplete.

Hope that clears a few things up, I wasn't trying to cause problems, and I really do appreciate all the effort that has gone into making the group buy a real thing

I've got some questions, and hopefully they haven't been answered before. Are the caps "tilted" in any way? I forget the term for this, but basically is the angle the same on all the caps? I want arrows where hjkl currently is, but I'm not sure if it would be possible to just get an arrow set, and put them in place of hjkl.
Second question, is there going to be another round in the future with the blue caps again? I believe they were in round 4.
Thanks!
