I think I'll try. I like the browns feel, but regarding the noise, the lesser the better. If the O-rings don't change the feel, I'd like to try.
Just bought some at wasdkleyboards.

Are you aware of the fact that O-rings and SignaturePlastic's DCS family isn't the best combination? At least the F-row and number-row caps have a mounting stem that is too long for a single O-ring to have any effect: the ring won't even touch the switch housing. I don't know about the other rows.hottrout wrote:I ordered the 40A-L (softest) of the O-Rings as I dont want to remove the sound of my MX Brown Filco but instead just want to dampen some of the bottom out noise. I type a lot and have never used these before so I am interested in how they will feel.

BTW, the DSA family works with O-rings. We have to see about the SA family.

I've got a really big problem:
There will be leftover keys, but I don't always know which they will be.
Each DUMMY kit contains 7.64525993883792048929 key caps. Should I cut some of these?
To be serious: What should I send as DUMMY kits, just anything I find out that is a leftover key cap which is not part of any real kit, or should I ask everybody what they want?
If I ask, I've got to tell you what is left over right now.
![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif)
All I know for now is that there are too many LEFT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN keys in the SPH style and a lot of leftovers from language kits, which will never form a complete laguage kit anymore.
I can also use the white and black on yellow diamond keys.

I think you can never have too many LEFT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN keys because there are always things out there that you want to make go LEFT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN.7bit wrote:All I know for now is that there are too many LEFT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN keys in the SPH style and a lot of leftovers from language kits, which will never form a complete laguage kit anymore.

I don't know. Maybe just try to make the leftover kit orders as useful as possible (i.e. one of each arrow key, not 4 left arrow keys) and after we receive them we can trade among ourselves. Create a "Round 4 leftover kit keys For-Trade" thread...

Dibs on any blanks for round3! Order #0647 !! Seriously thou, can you not put in caps that are from the same style with orders? Or at least try to. For instance i wouldnt mind 1.5x blank round3 (if it exists) as i got a round3 order.

Do they fit on hjkl? That'd be useful for VIM users...
If there are alternative versions of modifier keys like a Control for Caps Lock position, or stepped Caps Lock/Control, or diamond (ball,square..) modifiers... I'd buy in SPH and ROUND3...

I could use anything from a danish language set, although I didn't buy a dummy kit (I had no idea what it was) but would it be possible to buy those extras?

I would be happy if there were some 1.5u and 1u mods in my dummy kits, either SPH or Noir.
If not, well, just send something![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

I'm number 736 and very curious when all those orders will be packed and shipped. Must be a huge operation!
I'm not in a hurry though since I don't have my boards for it yet so it doesn't really matter to me ^^ I think 7bit will have severe keycap sorting withdrawal symptoms when everything's done :p

It is 45.2% of all key caps no matter how large they are.hsu wrote:Surely the numbering is not continuous, if at around 200 you're in 40% and my order is 709!
I try to get over 60% packed today.
![Shocked ](./images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)
BTW, only 22.5% of all packages are packed (93 of 413).
![Surprised :o](./images/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif)
The earlier orders contain more keys than the later ones.
I've decided to pack everything (will take me until this weekend) and then ship. The advantage is I know what can be used for the dummy kits.
