It's my fave! If I had to have on be UK ISO it be that one. We don't have many altgr charas so would look a lot more boring... :(
I USE that layout - It's ALREADY a bloody mess !
I say forget the Swedes and their umlauts !!

Or maybe I'm just to old-school when it comes to keycap-layout ?

English is full of diacriticals. We merely insist that you remember all of them while you're reading, instead of just writing the little buggers down.

Craziest choice of global language ever…

Yeah we do not care about all the complicated stuff in your language. We only use the simple parts. :P

My English probably becomes worse and worse the longer I read and write in these forums. So much bad English, including my own posts, and nothing ever gets corrected.

Here, let me fix that:
Halvar wrote:Yeah we do not care about all the complicated stuff in your language. We only use the simple parts. :P

Indeed! We scarcely find ourselves caring for the arcane aspects of your language; as chock full of them as it is. We restrict ourselves to the sensible parts, as they are, like gentlemen. <Here is a graphic token of my disdain, sir.>

My English probably becomes worse and worse the longer I read and write in these forums. So much bad English, including my own posts, and nothing ever gets corrected.

I rather think that participating in these forums is most deleterious to my overall wherewithal in English. Hardly the best exemplar! And I fear for my own responsibility regarding this situation, so seldom am I spuriously nitpicked by pretentious native speakers.
Agreed!

Hardly anyone uses diacriticals. But the New Yorker is known to write like it's 1799:

Which is rich. As they are mere Americans, coöpting the style of their imperial forebears for forgotten comic effect.

Well ... err ... thanks.

You also need the nordic set if you manage a metal band or an ice cream business of course, for the röck döts.

Just to let you know.
I would have bought 2 Scandinavia sets if it had included the keys needed to use it on an ANSI keyboard.

If people would prefer Scandinavian on an ANSI physical layout that is fine with me.

I'm not suggesting that you drop the ISO support.
Just that you also include the keys needed for ANSI.

That would be the following.
ANSI left shift.
ANSI enter.
ANSI "|\" with the same legend as the Scandinavian "'*˅˘"

MAC, US Green and Scandinavia need about 10 more orders each if they are going to get to production. Every other set is good to go for MOQ.

HOW ???

Don't you get it ?????
(Obviously :
No, you don't get it, because, as the yank you are : You don't have a fucking clue about the needs of other languages ! )

OUR ALPHABET HAS 3 LETTERS MORE THAN YOURS !!!!!!!!
And we NEED them to be on the keyboard !

Why don't you yanks just drop 'Z' and 'X' from your layouts ???
(to the Germans : Ja ich weiß )

I'll put myself down for a ISO Nordic set if to make it 9 if others join in. Help our brothers out.

Do I just put the order in the spreadsheet or is there a way I can opt out if they do get over the MOQ?

Are all Mac users just fanboys loving their chicklet keys? Come on and get a set of keys for a better keyboard!

Wow overreacting much?

I believe you are the one not getting it.

There is no 3 key difference bettween PHYSICAL ANSI and ISO.
There is only 1 key more on a ISO board. And that key is to the right of the left shift.
You would still be able to type your ü and ä and ö. With the correct keys, with the correct legends.
The only problem would be <>| but those are easily remaped and not used in average sentences.

My suggestion was to include the keys needed to actually use the Scandinavian kit on an ANSI board.
This would make it usable on both ISO and ANSI boards. How can that be a bad thing?

This is the last place I would come and complain about not catering for different language requirements.
IvanIvanovich is one of the few to actually do just this. 7bit being the only other one I know off.

No comment on Peter's late night post...

What I learned from Ivan's posts on GH is that there is no way for Ivan to add arbitrary additional keys in this GB.

All that Imsto has and wants to sell are full sets (excluding ISO enter) that they will dyesub for us according to our wishes, and additionally the RGB sets and a limited number of 1x1 keys that Ivan uses for the novelty keys.

So as far as I understand there's no way to add conversion keys like that, and that's also the reason why there can be no Moogle kit.

Matt3o did help UK users myself included with his set. Can't thank him enough, UK's just a few extra keys and it makes ALL the difference.

Yes It's well known I hate other languages. Just a moment while I throw out the Russian, French, Swiss, German, Italian, and Spanish keyboards I have...

Oh, you wouldn't want them anyway. All crummy old winkeyless vintage Cherry doubleshots and dyesubs.

I see.
If it simply isn't an option then that's the way it is.

The Scandinavian set without a enter key is kind of not that useful. At least not to me.

Sorry that I forgot about you Matt3o. You are doing an awesome job.

I just had a quick question, what makes the dyesub process produce softer edges as in IMSTO's keycaps:

Image

vs the incredibly sharp/crisp (and if I'm not mistaken, dyesub PBT) caps on a HHKB?

Image

I know the typeface is different but is that it?

Ivan, just by chance, do you have a remaining blue US Int. set from the previous GB?

I've ordered the Irish one, but the Olivetti-like it's also a nice one.
