HOW ???
Don't you get it ?????
(Obviously :
No, you don't get it, because, as the yank you are : You don't have a fucking clue about the needs of other languages ! )
OUR ALPHABET HAS 3 LETTERS MORE THAN YOURS !!!!!!!!
And we NEED them to be on the keyboard !
Why don't you yanks just drop 'Z' and 'X' from your layouts ???
(to the Germans : Ja ich weiß )
Wow overreacting much?
I believe you are the one not getting it.
There is no 3 key difference bettween
PHYSICAL ANSI and ISO.
There is only 1 key more on a ISO board. And that key is to the right of the left shift.
You would still be able to type your ü and ä and ö. With the correct keys, with the correct legends.
The only problem would be <>| but those are easily remaped and not used in average sentences.
My suggestion was to include the keys needed to actually use the Scandinavian kit on an ANSI board.
This would make it usable on both ISO and ANSI boards. How can that be a bad thing?
This is the last place I would come and complain about not catering for different language requirements.
IvanIvanovich is one of the few to actually do just this. 7bit being the only other one I know off.
