Two units under 10€ shipped? I would buy them if I were you becauseLamaboi wrote:How much is a g81-8308LPADE usualy worth? I can get two of those for a total of 8€-9€ incl. shipping :/ and yes, I know they're MY switches...

Also, are the stems of a MY switch keycap compatible with MX switches?
1. they astonishingly sometimes do sell quite well: http://www.ebay.de/itm/360412534594 (sold for 89,90)
2. in any case, you'll get 48 relegendable keys with transparent lids.
And yes, MY and MX keycaps are fully interchangeable (except for non-1.0 function keys, where the stem is placed differently).
Note that the programmable keys (and only those) of the G81-8308 do not have MY, but MX switches.

That was kinda what I was thinking about, because those relegendable cherry keys do look good but wasn't really sure if MY cross stems are MX compatible. Thanks for the info! Kinda wondering though what kind of printing they used on the caps.kbdfr wrote:Two units under 10€ shipped? Yeah well, I can't find anyone that'll pay 80€ for a Cherry G81-3000 SAD set either
However, considering the rarity of Ambra boards and the fact that I sold several regular Model Ms at 50€ each, 70€ should be a realistic price

The "normal" keys are lasered, the relegendable keys are blank with a transparent lid.Lamaboi wrote:(...) g81-8308LPADE (...)

Hey all. How much do you guys think a G80-1000HAD that the only sign of use is a stretched cord? The only buttons used on the keyboard were F keys, and rarely, about one switch press a day. I'm not selling its all mine. Muahahahah But I would like to know what its worth. Thanks!

in response to the second question: it's a terminal keyboard and won't work with modern pcs unless you mod it with a teensy controler.Grond wrote:How much is this wyse worth? Supposedly working, but without cable. Also, will it work with modern pcs?
Something like this:

I'm concerned that some of the keycaps may not be original, due to their different color. See the ones above the arrows, for example. Also, isn't Return supposed to be gray?mintberryminuscrunch wrote:but the caps will be nice once cleaned

to me it looks like the language specific key caps came from another batch (production circle) what explains the difference in yellowingGrond wrote:I'm concerned that some of the keycaps may not be original, due to their different color. Right, I didn't think about this. But anyway, do you think I could clean them so that they all come out the same color? There's quite an amount of yellowing there.it looks like the language specific key caps came from another batch (production circle) what explains the difference in yellowing

Stuff like Vanish Oxi Action Power White can handle a little yellowing. but you probably need something stronger.
