Want to borrow IBM SDL keyboard cable

I bought a M4-1 keyboard but I did not know it is sold without the cable

I don't know for sure if the keyboard is in working condition - would appreciate I could borrow one from someone in the way of Melbourne south-east suburbs - Australia

Afraid I can only help with information. A standard SDL cable won't work here - it needs the Y-cable from an M5-1 (PS/2+PS/2), M5-2, or M4-1. Any one of those should work. But it has been a LONG time since I've worked on an M4-1 so if someone could verify the cross-compatibility that'd be fantastic.

Perhaps you can have a gander at Unicomp's offerings; they sell Y-cables.

Thanks guys - did checkout unicomp but a total of USD$50 to get it shipped makes it too costly
