Why is everyone making WTS posts without a price??? Just means people have to go back and forth in PM's for no reason.

Thank you for posting. I wouldn't have ever been able to see it from my eBay app. What I see is extremely filtered and conditioned by the oddity of an algorithm I will never understand.

This was established as an auction. I messaged the seller with an initial offer to see where things went, for this and another board, at 14:06 yesterday, after initially sending him a message previously which took him ages to reply to, to which he had responded with a bizarre message in which he said he did not understand how to do things at DT and asked me for a "manual" on how to run an auction, how to understand "jargon", all sorts. I therefore spent quite a bit of time on my response, trying to be helpful (including outlining how a silent auction should work, e.g. how Ascaii does it), in addition to simply putting some initial bids in.
A few minutes or so later, he opens the message I sent. Doesn't reply. Still hasn't.
At 14:43 he updates the top post to "sold".
I noticed this last night so I sent a message, now rather annoyed, since this was ostensibly a bidding situation and he's ignored me and sold it without giving me a chance to outbid. I asked if this was what had happened. He also still hadn't replied to my bid on the other board.
Reply:
This guy is clueless and rude. Avoid.

Duly noted, thanks for sharing.
Already got an impression of that general nature from his/her other posts ...

Entire account history is basically being clueless and asking what their stuff is worth. Then when I actually spend some time offering help as well as bidding on stuff, this is the thanks I get. Nah.

There needs to be some minimum requirements for selling on this forum. In addition to the issues raised above there is also the case of an individual with a mere 15 posts on this board not being entirely trustworthy or reliable.
Not to doubt the integrity of HappyDog, but sometimes it isn't worth the risk, nor the stress of dealing with someone who doesn't really put any energy into the forum other than determining what sort of profit they can make.
