That key cap puller is the real prize there.

Lot-lizard was going to reproduce them for his M/F project. I loaned him mine to use as a model and just barely got it back before he disappeared under the event horizon.

Interesting piece of plastic.

Lot Lizard tried to make amends as he disappeared. He refunded my Model MF order, which PayPal duly swindled me with the double currency conversion, with before and after Brexit dates. But XMIT never got his Model F flippers back. He’s told me there’s a wealth of such bits and pieces all tangled up down there in the singularity.

Hundreds of Model Fs were tracked down and stripped for parts for the M/F project. Personally I don't have a particular problem with that, per se, because the overwhelming majority were XTs and bigfoots which were not desirable at the time (although it looks like XTs are coming back into fashion for some reason).

The M/F would have been spectacular, taking Ellipse's work to the next level, in my opinion.

Those cap pullers are a godsend for any M or F with 2-piece keycaps.
If you have never used one, they pull the cap off the stem and work like a charm.

A few of them definitely happened. I remember seeing pics. I wasn't active enough at the time to be one of Lot Lizard's testers, I just placed an order for the production run; which wound up never happening, thus the refund. You're likely in the same boat, right?

Still got all the parts required for a Model MF of my own. Just need that PCB run again. Someone! You're our only hope!

Bet Pandrew's QMK will make it a superb keyboard. Better than an Ellipsesaver, apparently.
