Well, I had to ditch the metal plate (see workshop - worklog) for now, since it does not fit the G80-1000 cave without some plastic carving. So I went for yet another Reuters PCB, changed the springs to 55g Titanium and added some black keycaps. I think its actually much nicer than the beige ones it came with by default. I had no more full sized shift keys (the ones you see are from a 1800...) so the good old trusty RGB came out of the box again.
LEDs are also changed (orange this time!) - still need to resolder the cable.. I even bothered to change the LED label to an English one! I am actually thinking of converting it to USB instead of resoldering the AT cable. But I'm not sure yet.
