Thanks! You certainly know this Forum inside and out. I checked the Pia Poker case for sale. Gold is a bit overstated for me and the price a bit too high. In addition, this would be for a not-yet-purchased Poker II. I do not know if the case for a previous-generation Poker would fit the Poker II. I really like the shape of the case, however.mashby wrote:That is the Pla Poker case that she bought from Zenuty. It was a GB on one of the Korean forums I believe. Kayliss has one in gold for sale on GH at this link.rjrich wrote:I really like the case! Was this a special order through a GB?

I agree on both points. It's a beautiful case in the right color though and I do believe it'll fit the Poker II. The only change to the mounting points was to add a center mount like what is found on the Pure. I don't know if the Pla Poker supports the center mount, but if it does you can use it, if it doesn't, you can skip it.rjrich wrote: Thanks! You certainly know this Forum inside and out. It's been a while since I posted in this thread ![Twisted Evil :twisted:](./images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif)
Here are my babies! Poker (red) and Poker II (black) and carrying case for poker sized keyboards. It's a custom one made by my girlfriend. Too bad I had to wire/jump with both PCBs but that's the prize when I'm too obsessed with modding.. well everything are up and running so I think it's fine
Poker
* Klaxon 2.0 keycaps
* Painted case
* Steel plate
* 65g MX Clear switches
Poker II
* Filco blanks and poker modifiers
* 65g MX Blue switches

Mobility, yes, but I also like a good 60% design as a potential daily driver. I am attracted to the minimalist approach in achieving 100% functionality in a 60% layout.
On another note, given the popularity of the Poker and its relatives, e.g., Poker II and others, why aren't there more aluminum cases readily available for them?

GH is swamped with GBs for 60% alu cases.
I'll just be a nice guy and list them for you:
- FMJ Aluminum Poker Case Group Buy (Taking Orders)
- ALU case GB round 3 red color done, new image uploaded!!!
- MKC Aluminum Poker Case Group Buy (Order closed) (already closed, but was still open just recently)
- [GB] Duckmini V2 Group Buy [In production] (already closed, but was still open just recently)
And also here on DT. tinlong is gathering interest for some nice cases as well: http://deskthority.net/marketplace-f11/ ... t6331.html
Why aren't there more aluminium cases readily available, you said? Well, how many more do you want?

They don't seem to get prettier over time. First wave got it right: minimal, straight lines and simplicity.

Indeed. Generally I'm into less = more, too. But the Duckmini looks pretty incredible any which way:

Finally some backlight love for Matias' ideal transparent switches.
Glad I didn't notice this soon enough. The price! Still, you guys who are in this one: write ups on arrival! A 60% Matias board is a little game changer.

Yes, I am aware of the fact that there have been numerous GBs and some are going on now. I was referring to the availability of relatively standard cases/trays as commodity items via regular commercial outlets. However, thanks for kindly listing the various GBs -- it is interesting and helpful to see this information!Acanthophis wrote:You're kidding, right?rjrich wrote:On another note, given the popularity of the Poker and its relatives, e.g., Poker II and others, why aren't there more aluminum cases readily available for them?

Looks rather good with the two-tone beige set even without a custom case.
